I would love to see Mischef Makers on Nintendo Switch Online. That game looks really adorable! :3
Buck Bumble
Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage
Loved Mace back in the day and another series not well known that was exclusive to the n64 was Fighters Destiny. Similar to flying dragon it had an innovative combat system based on points. There was two of em and I have to mention em since you mentioned flying dragon.
Interesting list of n64 system game,s body harvest I played before and it was interesting and retro for today's standard,s other game,s were also lost in time😔🙏
MACE THE DARK AGE LETTTTTTTTTTTTTS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO "me and my bro where just talking about this game a couple of months ago and forgot the name of it"
Man!!! Mace and diddy Kong racing were the first two games I got with my N64! I loved that game! Classic!
Is Mace The Dark Age really that awesome Nintendo 64 Game what people says here on comments? 😮😊
Never thought I'd see this game make a list lol. This was a gem 💎
@@Leo-pd4fcAbsolutely.
@SHADOW_MOON I played Mace: The Dark Ages at the arcade, not on N64.
I think most people missed out on a LOT of N64 games back then because of how expensive they were.
True. N64 made $70 games a thing way before the current gen of consoles did.
I usually just rented 😅
@@willkriss1497yup
@@Handsome_Black60 bucks back then is equivalent to like 150 now lol
Title "10 Great N64 Games You Probably NEVER Played"
Me "Challenge accepted"
Right 🤣
Back in the day, I played six of the games on this list. How did the challenge go for you?
Mischief makers was the first game I had on N64
"shake,shake"
Shake shake
I remember playing the first Sin & Punishment game on the Wii’s Virtual Console around the time the sequel was about to release. One of the best N64 games Nintendo never brought over until the Wii.
Some of my favorite n64 games were: Mace the Dark Age, Body Harvest and Shadowman.
Was not expecting to see Flying Dragon on here. Glad to see it get its flowers
Flying Dragon was my favorite fighting game on the N64. Although I find it interesting that they talked about the game's RPG elements, but only showed footage of the game mode that doesn't have the RPG elements.
My underrated 10 are:
Flying dragon, Worms Armageddon, Custom robo V1, V2, Bangai-0, Snowboard kids 2, Goemons adventure, Fighters destiny 1, 2, Super robot spirits, hot wheels turbo racing
Mischief Makers was hard as hell when it released and was really fun as a platform puzzle game 🔥🔥
Game was my sh!t as a kid
When they said it was too easy in the video, I was like, "wah 🤔🤷"
Sin and punishment is extremely hard but awesome.😊
More love for Mischief Makers! We need in on NSO or a remake. PLEASE!
I think a lot of people missed out on Vigilante 8 & Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense. For those who don't know, it was N64's answer to Twisted Metal and it was pretty damn fun! 😁
those games were fun as hell and the theme song to 2nd offense always got stuck in my head
Cues music for 2nd offense "vigilante 2nd offense oh oh ohhhhhhhhhhh"
@alvinmiller823 lol thanks for that
They were not Nintendo exclusives but they looked the best there. With exception to the Dreamcast sequel of course lol
Loved both, came upon it being cleared from video rental place at the end of n64 era
I played Duck Dodgers it was awesome
Duck Dodgers starring: Daffy Duck is a great one.
You can't go wrong with Looney Tunes.
Perfect Dark never got the love it deserved. Everyone remembers Golden Eye, but few remember or played it's 'sequel' despite it improving almost every aspect of the first game; the graphics were much better, it had an interesting story line, had a fair bit of replayability, had a much improved multiplayer mode, improved graphics and had a legitimately awesome female protagonist.
Cruisin exotica, Rush2, Rush 2049, beetle adventure racing, wayne Gretzky hockey 98 and nba showtime. Simply the best
Rush 2 is still top 5 racers to me and I find that pitiful.
Showtime and Kobe Bryant courtside 2 were top teir
My cousins used to have Hybrid Heaven.
Sweet! How's he doing now?
@@kylehagglund3229 They're doing fine.
Extreme-G should've shown up here, such a fun racing game and honestly one of the best OSTs in any game, period.
Ogre Battle 64 was amazing. Really one of the best pure RPGs out there. Great and varied units, great story, great music, great visuals for the time. Long game, but great one. Probably why it costs a bundle today or one of them.
Mace The Dark Age and Hybrid Heaven were really good
I was well aware of ogre battle 64! My first RPG and my favorite N64 game and easily the game I put the most hours in before the age of 13. It doesn't get talked about enough!
At least after all these years, we finally got a spiritual successor to Ogre Battle in the form of Unicorn Overlord. Which is certainly more than I ever expected to see out of that series after so many years of being dormant. (Not counting remakes and re-releases of Tactics Ogre, because while it is technically part of the same series, it plays completely differently from the Ogre Battle games).
Now make a top 20 of that topic. You add more games like:
- Gauntlet Legends
- Winback
- Jet Force Gemini
- Deadly Arts (G.A.S.P. Fighters' NEXTeam)
- Dark Rift
- Fighters Destiny
- Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.
Etc.
This is the reason I’m following ThaBeast721’s Beating Every N64 game challenge.
Considering I've played Mischief makers, ogre battle, and sin and presentment, I'll take the win. Also I've at least heard of hybrid Heaven although I don't think I've played it. BY THE WAY check your facts Mojo, March of the Black Queen was the subtitle for the first Ogre Battle game. I forget if tactics came out before or after 64, but lore wise, it is the last game chronologically at present
As the biggest 64 fan back at launch and still continue to be, I’ve played all of these. Best system ever.
Ha! Joke's on you MojoPlays! 5 out of 10 of these games I've played! Hybrid Heaven, Space Station Silicon Valley, Mace the Dark Age, Ogre Battle 64, and 1 other(I forget which one atm) I have played, and loved the majority of those!
Emphasis on "Probably"
@@spectrebull No, not probably; definitely
Hybrid heaven really needs a remake/remaster for today's consoles. such a wonderful game.
I remember playing Mischief makers great game
Sin & Punishment was a Japan only release until it got released on the Wii shop
I WATCHED MY COUSIN PLAY MISCHIEF MAKER WHEN I WAS 5... IM 30. Been trying to find that game as it comes and goes from my memory since. THANK YOU WATCHMOJO!!!
Earlier this year, I finally played Sin and Punishment as my first game using the N64 NSO app. I’m now three games in with Mario Kart 64 and GoldenEye.
A childhood pal of mine had Space Station, we'd spend hours exploring and solving the puzzles even if we found the story to be a bit weird. But that weirdness is part of its charm. The hyena's laugh is iconic. Fun times.
I played Daffy Duck and I'm proud of it
Jet Force Gemini is an underrated cult classic; was brutally difficult, but that's what made it fun. And of course, Conker's Bad Fur Day was my very favorite game on the platform. But the sales were almost non existent back in the day.
What a great list! The N64 was such a special system. I have mine hooked up to my TV now and it is one of the reasons why I am a retro gamer today.
I think I'm going to have to give Sin and Punishment a try. I don't know why I've been putting it off.
It's great. One of the most stylish N64 games
I loved mischief makers! Shake Shake!
God I wish Mace: The Dark Age would get a reboot.
only one I played was Space Station Silicon Valley. loved it.
Heaven Hybrid and Orgre Battle 64 was doooooooppppppeeee!!! I played these two back in the day. Never finished Heaven and only got one ending in Orgre Battle.
I also only ever got one ending in Ogre Battle, which was a bad one. Then when playing the game a second time, trying to do things differently with my decisions and whatnot, while knowing nothing about how the endings are actually determined, I wound up with the same ending a second time. After that, I just gave up.
@@gurvmlk ouch. Yeah I got the bad ending too and then looked at how to get the others, which I never did. I was going for lawful but gave up. Also I was worried if I got the bad ending and then good, neutral would be hard because how do you know you're in the middle?
@@miker2000 I didn't look up how to get the different endings at the time, because I just assumed it was like most games with multiple endings. Where you'd choose different dialogue options to alter the course of the story, and in turn change the ending. Which didn't happen.
Treasure: one of the BEAT video game company ever!! I mean : Gunstar Héroes, Guardián Héroes, Radiant Silver Gun and many many many more!! Known for being for their “hardware pusher games”!!
Great video! I think a lot of people missed out on Winback: Covert Operations. Such a great game!
My child-self lit up when I saw Rocket: Robot on Wheels on this list. Sweet Nostalgia! ☺️
2:21 Mace The Dark Age was my first game on the N64, for me a very iconic game, despite being a cheap copy of Mortal Kombat 3D with weapons
Rocket, Hybrid Heaven, Mace and Body Harvest should be added to NSO...
Sin and Punishment did get a sequel
I would love to see “Sin and Punishment: Star Successor” get a Switch remaster.
Ogre Battle 64 was my addiction!! I played that game for hours on end! I would always rent it at Blockbuster. Once I had to return it, I would rent it the next day! I literally couldn't get enough of it! I was so addicted to playing this game! I was obsessed! Amazing game to me!
Rocket the Robot was actually pretty good! I'm glad it's on this list.
damn, ive only played 3 of these games. hybrid heaven (used to own), body harvest and flying dragon.
I feel like Sin and Punishment could've been an arcade game as well.
I love Spacestation Silicon Valley. Like Breath of the Wild, it's fun even when you go off-script and test the limits of the mechanics.
What about that one RPG everyone forgot exists called Aiden Chronicle or Chronicles (not sure if it had “s” at the end)?
Aidyn Chronicles - The First Mage
Here's my Top 10 Underrated Games:
Winback
Shadow Man
Star Wars Episode 1 Battle for Naboo (cannot believe this wasn't mentioned)
Hercules
Mission Impossible
Jet Force Gemini
Nightmare Creatures
Space Station silicon island
Rocket Robo on Wheels
Body Harvest
+1 for shadow man for sure
As soon as I saw the title of this video, my first thought was, "oh, Silicon Valley is going to be on this list." Called it
Aero Fighters Assault. Awesome Air Combat game with destructible environments & just all around fun gameplay
Do Original Xbox game we never played before
I remember when I accidentally unlocked Grendal on Mace, no idea how I did it. Didn't want to turn my console off because I didn't know how to get him back haha
Mace!!!!!!!! Loved that game!
Great list with some titles I've never played before. I think two games which don't get enough love or attention are Jet Force Gemini and Iggys Reckin' Balls.
I remember playing three of these as a kid. I don't think I owned them. They were rented at blockbuster
Those games back then was fun didn't matter if it had better graphics or not.
I wish Mace Of The Dark Age could get a remastered ported to modern consoles. Lord Deimos was main.
I was hoping they'd mention Forsaken 64
They didn't cause of the remake that came out a few years ago
And I thought Soulcalibur was the only weapon based fighting game. I never played Mace but it sure looks like it was very interesting. Would be nice if they bring it to current gen consoles
Holy crap. Mace. I would rent that game from my local video store (they didn’t care I was under 17) and I’d play it while my parents were asleep.
I remember Mace the dark age kind of love it.
Damn Mace The Dark Age was one of my first games I ever played. In that time I didn't even know how to read, I think I was 3 or 4 years old. So much memories with this game.
Dark Cloud isn't known very well but I loved that game
The World is Not Enough N64 is brilliant!
Mace: The Dark Age! Sometimes i think that game is a fever dream I had, then i remember i got it new for like 5 dollars in Italian lire and then i feel old cause euros weren't in use back then. 😂😅
I think the biggest thing is that if you grew up in an area with only one or two places to rent games, then you were severely handicapped at the catalog to choose from. I played some odd games and several on these list would have been up my alley.
Although i sucked pretty bad lol
Mace the dark age was a great game that needed mastery, but people just wanted to mash buttons, so no one cared for it.
Great list, sad I've missed out on a lot of those.
I loved that Daffy Duck game!! But also Glover!!
Silicon Valley was only published by Take Two. DMA, later became Rockstar actually made it. You could also say DMA got a lot of testing sorted in Body Harvest before they began GTA 3
Cough cough Gauntlet Legends cough cough
A pretty damn decent list of you ask me. There are some gems in this video
Fighters destiny is a gem
Add to this list: “Metal Warriors”. A human-piloting-a-mech game that was brilliant for its multilayer. Every mech was balanced and it you didn’t like the mech or your mech was damaged and you were capable of getting away you could run to a new mech. Soo well balanced for multiplayer. Soo many great times in house with buddies duking it out.
“Metal Warriors” was a Super NES game, not an N64 game.
@@theraptorus point. My bad
I had Ogre Battle and Body Harvest, both killer games. DMA who made Body Harvest would later become Rockstar. Ogre Battle is EPIC
Space station was an awesome game
There was a little known FPS called Goldeneye, or something, that I think a lot of people slept on. Not bad for a movie adaptation. There was also some Zelda Ocarina something.... Not a bad game, but I don't think many people knew about it.
Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 doesn't get the love it deserves like its American counterparts but it may be the best wrestling game, N64 or otherwise. Glad to see Mace included here 🙂
Finally found Hybrid Heaven the game I been trying to remember forever!!!!!
Anyone ever play Star Soldier Vanishing Earth?
Mischief Makers was the 1st game i had with the N64 and i hated it until i gave it a chance and ive loved it ever since
I bought and played through Hybrid Heaven.
Chameleon Twist 1 and 2, anyone?
Yes thank you!!!!
Tonic Trouble is missing from the list.
I remember playing Mace the Dark Age when I was a teen. ❤
I tended to stay away from fighting games on the 64
Man I remember staring at the mace the dark age box at hollywood or blockbuster it looked so appealing I always wanted to rent it so bad
Rakuga Kids is TOP and looks still simply amazing.
i remember body harvest so well
Very interesting!
I LOVED Mace The Dark Age
YOOOO love for Sin and Punishment
Who the hell thought mischief makers was too easy 🤔
Sin And Punishment should get the FF7 Remake/Rebirth treatment someday.
It’s strange, I actually owned and played
Hybrid Heaven, I just didn’t get very far in it.
