Just bought about 10 pairs of orig. 874s. Your best bet go to store try them on, the sizing is off. thought they'd be stiff but first wash they were comfortable. When I got out of my car I looked down to make sure I had pants on. Former Levi user

I like the 873 way more, basically the same thing but not as high waisted and just a tiny bit less baggy
Edit: just a preference thing tho

When I was young my mom cups only afford dickies because Levi’s were too much. I only wore dickies until I was gifted Levi’s by an uncle. I love dickies. Skated them, wore them all my life.

@@DrewJoiner There are some shops selling Dickies and also on vinted (platform similar to depop), my favorite way to buy second hand clothes.
@@_herehugo_ Only thing I hate about vinted is the sizing filter for pants. It's just xs, s, m etc. but then people put a 33/34 under xs or something, doesn't make sense
@@jon-eriknijhuis6255 yeah, people don't know sizing and they are always wrong puting like a size W32 as a large or sometimes as a small. It makes it difficult to find the right item
I actually wear my 'Genuine Dickies' flat fronts more than my 874's. They're less rigid and more flowy. The 874's look better cuffed and actually stay cuffed while walking.
I would like to get several of them but guess what... In France, it costs around 70$ for one pair -_-

I just bought my pair of 874s. However, I wanted to know if they will shrink sizes after a wash and tumble dry.
Yes they will shrink about an inch with a hot wash/dry.
Are they high waisted pants because when I put mines one they pile on my butt. They fit good on my waist. Is it the inseam?
They do sit slightly above the waist

They taper down a little as compared to pants like the carhartt work pants. I think he’s got a video comparing these to some others
