I sure will bud , my job takes up a lot of my time so I don’t get alot of chances to upload more often , but there will definitely be more X3 content soon , and that’s awesome thank you !
The Kawasaki is so easy to change the oil a 5 yr old can do it without any issues or special tools. Typical car oil filter grab with hands and turn, the oil fill is right out where there is no special contorsion needed. The oil fill again righ in front of the tire almost dont need a funnel no mess no hassle. Air filter right behind the seat two clip trun 1/2 turn door folds down air filter easy to access and replace.
I almost bought a can am it sure is a bigger pain to work on versus a polaris. just saying, but still would like to have a the unit you have. Good video
Yea they are indeed a little more complicated to maintain, but after two Polaris machines in the past I’m just not willing to give them a try again . It’s a blast and much quieter after I installed the PDrive Primary . Looking to tune it soon . Thanks brother appreciate that !
You dodged a bullet. Can Am's are the worst I've owned on so many levels. Maintenece is a horror story. Polaris is easier by a lot. Had a polaris turbo s 2020, then bought a kawasaki krx 1000 now I just got a X3 Can Am and I have never been more dissapointed in my life. Everything about the machine is cheap. Half doors with a thin out skin with a winch strap to open the door. The front end is the cheapest plastics on any machine by far. Getting in and out of the rig is painful knocking knees bumpin your head is a nightmare.First ride about 10 miles to break it in it now has more sqeaks and rattles than my kawi did at 1000 miles. The best SXS out of the three and most reliable by far is the kawi. I admit it doesnt have the HP but everything else trumps those two others by 100 percent.
I debated the same thing Brandon . You’re going to find some who will tell you they re use them and have been fine , and some who swear you need to replace them . Being copper and aluminum i errored on the side of just doing it , especially since the oil change kit came with them anyway . Obviously if you’re buying individual quarts and filter separately you’d have to buy new crush washers separately. If you decide to re use them I wouldn’t re use them to much , in case they compress enough to eventually leak over time . I’m sure you’d be fine for a service or two . Like I said the kit I ordered came with them so I went ahead and swapped the new ones in .
Hey man, I just did the first engine oil maintenance. I filled the oil level just above the max line, I took the car for a ride and in about 10 minutes it turned off while driving and it won’t start. If I let it sit for like 15 or 30 minutes it start but for like 5 seconds. You think that overfilled oil level can cause this ? And how can I solve it ?
How much total oil did you put in? 3.8 Qts should cover fill plus filter . I’ve had no issues past two oil changes I’ve done at that capacity. How old is your machine and miles? Just curious cause it almost sounds fuel delivery related, like a bad fuel pump. I can’t imagine a slight over fill being a problem
@@joekearney it’s a 2021 49 hr. Well initially when I filled the oil I only left 200 ML on the fourth bottle. And it was way overfilled I started the can am for a minute and when I notice that I removed the excess oil to just above the max line
@@kevinnnsito You should be fine . I do 3.8qts and run her . Checking it warm (20-30 seconds after start up and kill it ) is recommended by Can Am. If way over full you may notice a little oil on the air filter /box , turbo . No more than you’re saying it was over I can’t imagine that killing it or suffocating it . To just randomly die , start try to run , die , it sounds fuel system related . It’s hard to do guess work obviously but I’d start there .
Dude, if you had to go out and buy a set of tools just to change the oil on this X3...you're the last guy that needs to talk about diff oil change frequency 😂😂😂

Do you really need to replace the seals and crush washer every change ?
