I havr a whalen built motor in my 2020 x3 with a xr54 turbo and e85. I was breaking stock clutches so i did the Tapp. Only way i could control rpm was grinding my own profile on the weight ramp. Im running 45 psi and it flat shifts at 8600rpm. I like the gboost rs bell

For a 500 hp motor 350 to the wheels . I would be dumping the clutch an getting a different one. It should be around 440 hp to 460 hp to the wheels. Change the 2nd dairy spring. But what do I know.
Primary is clutched too aggressive for your secondary. It’s over coming your secondary. I would run slightly shallower helix angles and or put a stiffer spring in there.

Will this still be useable for the trails at all, or just another dune car? Seems like it would be tough to use in trails like kentucky, etc that you’ve been doing lately
I always thought the clutching on these were more fickle than all the manufacturers of kits let on. I’ve seen them sell kits they say good for 30 to 32 inch tires and and two and four seaters are same part numbers. And 172 hp to 195 hp.are the same components. I know from messing with snowmobile clutches that your weight and horsepower make a huge difference. You don’t put in the same weights for a 600 as you do a 800 The same rules apply for the all the four stroke sleds I’ve clutched. I’m surprised nobody really makes a solid kit for how a machine is actually set up. It’s weight , tire size , horsepower and are you riding desert or racing 660ft or hill climbing. There all so generic..
Ya the wrench tossed into this project was the clutch was not shifting out properly, which was one of my guesses as to why it was acting like it was. Swapped some new goodies and and got it under control. Should see results in the next video.

Noice thing about my short bouncy YXZ, if you put 500hp behind it you get 485+ to the wheels. Unless your clutch is burnt :P

It's slipping the disk when the turbo lights up....... probably need a bigger clutch plate all together
The engine can hold 500 horsepower. It would need a bigger turbo to achieve that number.

It’s setup to be able to run 93 octane and make less power. With a simple clutch change it will drive closer to stock.

How much did it make factory if you know or remember?
I think it made 162 on a DynoJet chassis dyno.
