I drilled out the rivets and added rivet nuts on the skid plate for easy removal. I use a fluid extractor in reverse to pump the premesured oil back in. I drain the oil with the engine cold and add new leftover oil from the last change and let it drain overnight. You can see how it rinses the engine out.
Might be time for an S & B Particle separator to keep those airfilter dust levels down. Use a paper towel packed in around the oil filter case to catch the oil when you take the lid off. Wash the car/engine area clean before you work on it
@@JakeAlexander I hear ya, oil everywhere except down the provided hole. I've got a bigger new oval sideways funnel for next time. Some people drill out the pop rivets & Rivnut & bolt up that rear HDMWPE skidplate but I didn't want to leave rivet ends & drill shavings rolling around in my frame rails.

The filter cap wasn’t to bad, but the dang skid plate definitely screwed me 😂

Nice job
I pull my air filter after every ride, just to make myself feel good
We’ve only been putting on miles at Silver Lake
I need to make it more of a habit. I didn’t expect it to be as bad as it was.
Nice!
Decent.
@Jake Alexander, what tires do you have on that machine?
Still got stock 32” maxxis liberties
@@JakeAlexander Did you have to re-clutch to go up to the 32" tires?
@@afpskierx no they come stock with 32” tires
Looks like you made a mess 😂
Definitely made a mess
Yeahhhh…about that…
