Great video my friend, thank you for explaining and showing so much detail for us non mechanically inclined viewers. I SUBSCRIBEd due to the fact that I have a 2000 CIVIC that I intend to keep for a bit longer. Thank you for saving me money. JESUS bless you all
Great video showing the process and little tips and details. Exactly what I was looking for. "You can also do it with the uhh.. I always forget what those are called. But the other tool, you know?" That's exactly me. I feel you 😂
A valve cover gasket vid on this gen civic would be sick. I got a beater civic I'm doing all the maintenance on, and I appreciate your in-depth video! My civic rn runs good, but it overheats when it's not moving, so I'm replacing the temperature sensors, thermostat, and coolant. Can't keep blowing hot air during the summer 🤣
Unfortunately I have sold that car already but it's very simple to do all u need is a 10mm socket and ratchet and remove the bolts you see on the valve cover and remove the spark plugs also
The calm instruction is exact and attention to detail is great. I appreciate. Can you demonstrate the replacement procedure for the AIRCON aux fan of same car (Honda civic)?
mosr deff. i did my grandma's d16. same car. when filling back up. i disconnect one of the hose at the top of the valve cover that connects to iac (substitute for bleeding valve) then fill it up until coolant leaks out of there. then reconnect and fill up normal. let the car run until fan come on with the cap off, and front end raised. check for heat in cabin. done.
Out of the 4 vids I watched, yours was the best!

Awesome video, really helped me out and I've never worked on a car before other than changing oil, brakes, or air filters

You have to bleed the air out of the system using the bleeder valve. A must on Hondas. If you don't you will have idle problems.

I had done that the thermostat was actually defective
every problem you named i have with my car
makebsure the hester works. let the run run until fand kick on. i usually jack.up front end as air is not so easy to burp out on those hondas.
