I did not have to type "Minecraft" for the TikTok cape, but the TikTok channel has to be from the same region as you. I couldn't get it from a UK TikTok channel, but had no issues from a Canadian channel.

12:32 There’s actually a hidden “15” on the inside of the cape, it’s difficult to find, but it’s right there at the bottom.
Don't know where you heard the potato add-on has to do with the anniversary because it was free for at least a few weeks to a month before they announced anything because I've already had it for some time. And it wasn't released by Minecraft, it's one of Jigarbov's packs. The free add-on released by Minecraft is called "15 Year Party Supplies", also the 15th anniversary cape has "15" written inside the normal version, not just "green speckles" lmao.

Thanks Wattles! I am new to using bedrock as i use Java. I have to do this for the kids so trying to do it on my account first. Not sure about creating multiple accounts for twitch and tiktok. Seems a bit bad as they are age restrictions sm platforms.
Do you know if the outfits will be available in Java soon too or just the capes? I am assuming and setting expectations that it is just in the bedrock version for now.

Minecraft was and still is a big part of my childhood I remember playing it on our Xbox 360 with my sister back when there were few skins to choose from and me and my sister still play it today we have 2 main worlds together our world where we have a lot of buildings such as the b and b (bed and breakfast) our original houses and the adventure house on that world my sister made a rainbow cloud around her house made out of wool and I’m sure you know how one would go about accomplishing that after it was done she released all the sheep she had and now we have rainbow sheep all around and I have a chocolate milk business where I find brown sheep and breed them together I also sell chocolate milk (it’s just regular milk but I pretend it’s Chocolate) and our other world we just made pretty recently my sister told me to set up Minecraft and make a new world where we it’ll kinda be like the aphmau server if anyone knows who aphmau is where we’ll like secure our bases in case we try and loot each other and stuff like that so yeah thank you Minecraft for lots of fun memories

Idk why but the creeper cape isn’t working for me I got both the others but when I go to redeem it, it says I need a profile but I’m already logged in idk what to do

If you have trouble with the tiktok ones its probably because the creator forsnt actually have the drop going. The other day i spent like an hour in someones chat, not having it work and as soon as i tried another person it instantly worked

I already claimed the 15th anniversary cape a few days ago, and I am able to use it on Bedrock Edition. However, for Java, the cape does not show up on the "Change your Skin" page or the launcher. I own both editions on the same Microsoft account. Why is it not there for Java Edition?
I am not a big fan of the tiktok cape but the tiktok one goes really hard. I actually like how it looks so i created a throwaway account for that lmao
Does the way to get the Tik Tok cape work on desktop or Mac because I've tried this way for over 2 and a half hours and nothing pops up not even a notification and I am watching the lives that have drops enabled?

11:15 it annoys me that the secret alpha version of Minecraft that you can access on that top part of the website isn’t available for mobile you need a keyboard for it like I’ve been here in Minecraft since the beginning of pocket edition, but I still would love to experience like the true beginning of Minecraft lol

The 15th anniversary cape has a little "15" on the underside. Haven't really looked at the other two yet since im on java lol

Sounds like you have to claim the bedrock one first to even get the Java cape later.

I have a Minecraft problem. I used to have minecraft for 2+ years on pc bc I bought gold pass and then it expired so I bought the game and then when I go to my characters it only has 2 of them and the rest load infinitely. I even uninstalled it. Do I have to pay for more character slots?

could not download the Bloody Map. Big Microsoft Problem encounter. after someone else downloaded it, he got infected with 3 Viruses in the progress. then the Map did Not work, because I did not agree with the small letters of the contract. (it is Not a Free Map)

I don't get it how ur meant to get your tiktok cape after you watch for 3 mins and say "minecraft". the cape code doesn't show up anywhere (like with twitch where you get it in notifications or profile)

I tried to get the green cape. I followed all the directions (which included so many "sign in here," and then "sign in there" instructions that it was annoying. Then it said to go back to the original page to claim it. But the claim button never showed up. So, I signed out of all the places it had me go, then tried it again, thinking maybe some step was somehow missed. *Still* nothing. At one point, there was a note saying that if you had any trouble getting the cape, go to the chat (which it had a link to) and ask how to do it. It sent me to the same instructions that I had already done twice. Needless to say, I gave up. I probably would never use the cape anyway. Good thing it's not so problematic to get the rest of the 15-year celebration items!
What I did was sign in before going on to the claim page and it automatically works when you click claim.
@@kokulanselvakumaran That's what I had done initially. No "claim" visible, only "sign in" (which I had already done. Twice.) Sigh. I guess I wasn't meant to have that cape!

@@junerussell6972 Did you see that your account was logged in in the profile section cause it might not have signed in on the other page?
@@junerussell6972 I would try doing this on PC and seeing if your account is shown in the top right indicating that you're signed. If you're not signed in then sign in and open a new tab and go to the claim page.

Wattles, why don't you have the Pride Progress cape? I thought it was available for free, because I don't know how I got mine, I just did. The cape's description says it's available in most geographical regions and I thought the USA would be one of them.

I thought it was retroactive as well, if you had one you got the other? In the vanilla launcher on the left there should be a list of Minecraft games, bedrock is Minecraft for windows.
@@Ekipsogel That only works if you have the launcher from the Windows Store/Xbox app. If you have the classic (desktop app) launcher then you can't actually launch Bedrock from it. Since they don't have Bedrock they probably never installed the Windows Store launcher. (Not to mention that people usually hate Windows Store apps).

@@Yes4_Real The cherry cape is sort of special. It was given as part of the 2023 mob vote (armadillo, crab and penguin). There was (maybe still is?) a sort of perception about Mojang that they are lazy and they create mob votes so that they don't implement all mobs, so people decided to boycott the 2023 mob vote and not vote. So Mojang gave all those who voted the cherry cape :P
The 15 year cape is not special now (but will be in the future, when new players come in and they won't have it). The pan cape is not special at all, since every player has it.

@@Darsh0606 You should have it if you voted while logged in to your account. In the launcher go to Skins, Edit the skin you want and add the cape.
