In 1975, Don and Stevie started dating as her relationship with Lindsey Buckingham came to an end. The relationship lasted on and off for about 2 years. Nicks later wrote a song "Sara" that Henley claimed was about their unborn child, for which Nicks had an abortion. They remained good friends, but decided that they were each too busy carving out their careers . She has such a huge catalog and imho you can't go wrong with anything you choose to react to. Stevie wrote this song about Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings. Stevie was good friends with them and she wrote this song from observing them together and their tumultuous marriage.

This song couldn't have come at a better time. In 4 days it will be 38 yrs since he walked into my house & hasn't left yet. I had no money to buy him a gift so I sang this song to him in its place. My dad was the bandleader so his singer & I practiced in secret for weeks. Is there more beautiful love song for those who think they're opposites? Thanks for the memories & a few tears of joy. 💕💕
