This is soooo exciting!!! Your music was the first Christian Rock music I ever bought, and I wore out my tapes listening to them. It was "Homeless Few" that God used to inspire me to become a missionary in Los Angeles and called me to the world of Christian Film. This is really exciting guys! I was at the concert in Worchester MA in 89 the night Petra first premiered the full length movie Beyond Belief that was put on VHS😊, it was a great time.
God used this song to call me to be a missionary to Cleveland Ohio. I can’t help but tear up when I hear it now as I reflect on all the fruit he bore through me and witness his faithfulness throughout the years since. 😢

Jesus Northwest you came out with this means war Lily playing the drums and I started listening. I wasn’t a Christian yet. Well I wasn’t I was falling. Anyway, you help me come back to the Lord and help save my life and a lot of things which I know really was Jesus but the words meant more to me because it was Bible. it was it was you guys it was cool it was fun it was Bible well a lot of it anyway. Not that the content is entirely wholesome but there is a TV series based on the 80's called the Goldbergs. If this movie can have the same kind of time feel to it as the show it'll be a blast!!
There is a 51 minute movie they did called beyond belief which features clips from the music video. Its here on youtube. It's about a christian teenager with cancer. It's decent enough. I guess this is a remake of that?
First time I saw the Beyond Belief in youth age Sunday school at a church we were visiting in Ohio because we were there visiting friends and family I thought my parents were going to kill me. I wasn’t allowed to listen to Christian rock music
That's nice, but how about just praying about it, without asking for any donations? Ex-Christian here. Now I've got a love/hate relationship with the music of Petra, especially the Greg X Volz era.
I think their time would have better spent a documentary on them through the eras of the band and the fact that Greg Volz got Jerry Gaskill and Dug Pinnick together for Petra and were not picked is a little confusing but I think it was more of meeting people in Nashville and going with those band members. At least Greg tried to fix the situation by getting them to play with Phil Keaggy. If you want to know more go read King's X The Oral History as a source because that was where I learned that. The Nashville band members part came from an old chat from Bob Hartman in the late 90's I found recently for extra context.

The Beyond Believe video was shot in 1989??? The album was released on June 20, 1990. So the video must have been later.
(1) Record the album. (2) Record the video. (3) Release the album. (4) Video didn't have to be shot only after the album was released.
