It follows the journey of Andy, a teenage rocker who dreams of making it big like PETRA. As an outsider, Andy grapples with the loss of his father when he hears the voice of God telling him to "RUN." As Andy embarks on a journey of faith, resilience, and self-discovery, he must learn to hear God's voice and follow it to find and achieve the ultimate purpose for his life. "Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart"

My oldest child was a son born in June of 90. I got the Beyond Belief CD when he just came home from the hospital. It was his first introduction to Christian Music.

This is soooo exciting!!! Your music was the first Christian Rock music I ever bought, and I wore out my tapes listening to them. It was "Homeless Few" that God used to inspire me to become a missionary in Los Angeles and called me to the world of Christian Film. This is really exciting guys! I was literally listening to your music the other day for a movie I'm currently developing and wondering whether anything would fit. God bless you! I can't wait to see Beyond Belief! I was at the concert in Worchester MA in 89 the night Petra first premiered the full length movie Beyond Belief that was put on VHS😊, it was a great time.

Jaciinda well, I don’t know I’m broke but I remember the first time I saw you 1988 with a big drum. I didn’t even know about Christian rock and roll it. Jesus Northwest you came out with this means war Lily playing the drums and I started listening. I wasn’t a Christian yet. Well I wasn’t I was falling. Anyway, you help me come back to the Lord and help save my life and a lot of things which I know really was Jesus but the words meant more to me because it was Bible. it was it was you guys it was cool it was fun it was Bible well a lot of it anyway. Oh God bless you guys and I’ll see you, but like I said I’m broken my hip doesn’t work anymore so

How will we be able to watch it?
There is a 51 minute movie they did called beyond belief which features clips from the music video. Its here on youtube. It's about a christian teenager with cancer. It's decent enough. I guess this is a remake of that?
The Beyond Believe video was shot in 1989??? The album was released on June 20, 1990. So the video must have been later.
(1) Record the album. (2) Record the video. (3) Release the album. (4) Video didn't have to be shot only after the album was released.

First time I saw the Beyond Belief in youth age Sunday school at a church we were visiting in Ohio because we were there visiting friends and family I thought my parents were going to kill me.

Ex-Christian here. Now I've got a love/hate relationship with the music of Petra, especially the Greg X Volz era.
I think their time would have better spent a documentary on them through the eras of the band and the fact that Greg Volz got Jerry Gaskill and Dug Pinnick together for Petra and were not picked is a little confusing but I think it was more of meeting people in Nashville and going with those band members. At least Greg tried to fix the situation by getting them to play with Phil Keaggy. If you want to know more go read King's X The Oral History as a source because that was where I learned that. The Nashville band members part came from an old chat from Bob Hartman in the late 90's I found recently for extra context.
Of course it's a DEI character. Even the church caters to the woke. It's all so tired.
