*This broadcast got cut off before the finals, I apologize!*
I saw this year of the buggy races wasn't uploaded anywhere, so I decided to upload it despite the occasional stuttering in the first few minutes and missing ending.
The following year was the infamous Motor Madness broadcast of Swamp Buggies, where the show completely jumped the shark. Tom Rivers and Army Armstrong were not on the '98 broadcast, as Army returned to ESPN after being gone for many years to work the AMA Flat Track series.
Yeah, that one was so bad, it wasn't even about the sport. Just about tossing that boss man into the swamp. Even being young I knew it was simply too much on the skits.
This was the first of 3 swamp buggy races in the 1997 season shown on Motor Madness. The episode you refer to is this same event the following year, which was held in March.
I know that this is racing and everything, but if you race in a sport with water like this then why do you need a nomex jacket like terry Langford in the rubber duck at 57:50?
I guess he just wants that idea of extra protection in the small chance a fire happens above the water. Either that or it's the only jacket he had

what stock car racing is that at 0:21
I'm not sure, didn't watch a lot of stock cars. I favored the off road style events.

Sadly no, my parents were awful at taping over my shows back then lol. I figured to upload it for the rest of the episode to be watched, sorry it was incomplete!
