Thanks! This truck is a bit of a time capsule. I had a family, a house, and life in general get in the way, so this truck got parked until i had time (same for most of my projects).
@@SpiritedWrenchers Funny enough, this channel was intended more to keep me motivated to work on my stuff. So far it has got me back in the groove. Never really intended to become a "youtuber" but here we are!
@@EvanWells07 Hahaha. I hear ya. We started ours just to share stuff with friends/family and we also got tired of seeing terrible how to videos. Glad it's working for you.
I was really impressed with how the 2 part epoxy turned out! I will be doing a few more interior parts with it. Want to see a video on that? Leave a comment!
Are 12s the limit to fitting under a tonneau cover in a ranger when they're mounted vertically like that? Do you think you could squeeze 15s if they were angled? Alternatively, do you think it would be worth it to top mount (magnet up) 15s and leave basically a 4" tall slot to blow the sound through to the cab? Or is it just going to be more of a case of "any 15 you can fit won't be as loud as a badass 12 that WILL fit"?
You could fit 15's if you wanted. I just chose 12's because I like them. I think there is enough room to pretty much do whatever you want with them, but like you said, you may have to mount them on a slight angle to fit under a cover. I want to say there is another 2-3" from the top of my box to the top lip of the box.
Thanks! I did this originally some time around '02. its had probably 3 or 4 different boxes since then, but never what i would consider "finished" like this will be. Good luck with your build, and have fun!
Love it. Also, I like cats!
Cats are ok.
Yeah Mike, I like cats as well!
@@EvanWells07 You sir are crazy.
@@EvanWells07 I bet you don't even know Twitter.
yup.
Hahahaha. CD Holder. Classic. Certainly don't see a lot of cut throughs anymore. Enclosure looks good, especially the epoxy face.

The CD case is also filled with everything you would expect to find from the late 90's and early 2000's :)
@@EvanWells07 certainly not a unique situation. Been there myself. Now that my kids are grown, I can do what I want again. Lol.

That box turned out great!
Thanks! I was surprised for not having used the epoxy before at how easy it was, and how good it turned ouy.
What holds the box in place? Does it slide?
When I install it permanently it had 2 small brackets in the bed that held it solid.
