it worked out great! make sure you scrub and degrease before trying it. i had a few fish eyes come up in mine, but was able to blend them in with a little more epoxy. i will be starting on the center console soon as well, and it will have epoxy also.
I know this is a old video but I was going to say the gauge cluster is quite easy to to take off. Also you should look into getting some hot rod billet window cranks.
Thanks for watching! I have thought about it in the past. I still haven't finished this truck (ran into other issues) but am hoping to get back at it over the winter and have lots planned for them!
I’m going to try and do the dash of one of our semis How did you get it to not pool up in the curvature where the handle is? Did u sand the finished colored epoxy and Did u put a clear coat on after the color epoxy?
I didn't sand it or clear it at all. I wanted to see how it would hold up long term without. It would probably look even better with a good clear coat though. It will pool a little, especially if there are deep spots where it can't run out of. This probably wouldn't work on a very complex shape because of that. More so this was an experiment to see if it would work, and so far it has been ok.
Have you ever seen interior parts done in epoxy resin?
I’ve never seen a interior done in epoxy but it looks good and I think I’m going to try it on my ranger

@@EvanWells07 Thanks for the tips. Make sure to make a video of the center console. I look forward to watching more of your content
Thanks I appreciate that. hopefully this weekend or next I will start on the console. It will be a video for sure.

Just running across this! Really cool man
Thanks!
You need a full logo, you ain't been a petitioner in a long time.
I also havent driven this truck since back then. Thats also why i dont have a logo on the F150. It was getting rough and needed re-done. Both are due.

Is the panel a lot heavier, in the end?
Not much, but some. Are you worried about my lap times?
It's probably why your truck scrapes. Or maybe your shocks is busted?
busted shocks for sure.
Hey man, how did you get the fog lights in?
they are mustang gt fogs that i made brackets to mount.
What mirrors are those?
The are ones from chassistech back in the day, the street scene knock offs.
I miss Casey’s pizza. Try to get some each time I visit
i will mail you a slice :)
