"Curmudgeon" and "Oh, The Guilt" were only played 4x ever by Nirvana. "Talk To Me" was only played 5x total. This is the only show where all 3 of these rarities were played in the same set.
I had done a rework of this show/video back in 2013 (still available on a side channel here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=up8wK.... Hopefully this 50fps pseudo-mix is an improvement or at least a slightly different watch. The source is quite dark but it's a really great show.
I spelt the city name "Ghent" per Nirvana Liveguide: www.nirvanaguide.com/1991.php
-Copperpot5 I'm always looking for uncirculated Nirvana Video/Audio. If you taped Nirvana back in the day or happen to have any uncirculated Nirvana media please shoot me a message or email. Thx! Email: Jaycopperpot at gmail dot com) Видеоклипы

Yeees. Krist was a good friend and also a very good bass player. I love him! Does anyone understand what Kurt says after Krist says "I love my mom"?
because what I hear is "my mom are slaters" or something like that...

Curmudgeon is such a underated song.

Krist and kurt were the perfect duo

Christopher Carambot yeah bud, that’s definitely one of the ones that should’ve been touched up just a soft bit for a release. It’s got great chemistry thruout the song.

It feels like Kurt is rocking in the heaven and still giving concerts and this is the footage... Krist and Dave are simultaneously rocking here on earth

Totally bliss and freedom and beautiful and sexy and real

there is loads of nirvana concerts on you tube. how great is that.
On and on they will live. 👌
possibly the most interesting Nirvana setlist i've ever seen. any other show rival the amount of rare tunes performed here?
nope i dont think so
The show in Argentina
Live from The Off Ramp. Not necessarily rare songs but the performance is super long and hosts songs spanning all studio albums. A number of first live performances including the first and best performances of Aneurysm, Swap Meet, and Oh the Guilt. The last live Mr. Mustache, the best performance of Dumb and Verse Chores Verse. And many other gems. Great quality show.

dead air > kurts Big jump into the crowd of people who love the music and art of getting spit on/at by a to be honest and no homo a pretty boy rock star in the still real pre explosion punk / skater /drunk / rock scene is still and I say even more bad ass now as a almost 38 yr old man and music freaks veteran more than“pretty” ballsy to do. I remember these size shows and the free for all often seemed like oversold crowds and getting in the pit and surfing etc inside many in hindsight both beautifully dualistic of the raw material and honest way of celebrating the survival too that is stuff that is legend. The bands and the times for not being hassled and no rules!
Thanks for sharing this great show with the epic set list of tunes and sound \ visual quality. I love the shit.
I love how the only piece of equipment that gets rescued is the hard to find hi-hat stand.
It's so nice to hear audience singing and screaming along, especially on Lithium.
I would have loved to be there, the only concert in my country,at that time i had a little baby.Really too bad, I did not have the opportunity to see them, yet I love them.Even now I miss Kurt.I'm 57 and still listen to Nirvana. Love
Krist playing drums on Where did u sleep last night! lol
they seem so drunk this night!!!
They were :)
the long-time story was mushrooms + alcohol. Doesn't really matter, such a beautiful trainwreck of a show. Always been a favorite of mine & apparently many others. Nirvana were a fucking force of nature in '91.
a few early heavy Belgian beers maybe
@@reverandleroy What else do you know about their drug regimen? I've also suspected psychedelics and a touch of weed every once and a while, and alcohol like you said, but what regimen was the best, and perhaps they were each on different things, I'm really curious about this.
They smoked a lot weed before this show. They were kinda bored backstage and someone provided them a bag. It's documented in Belgian media and even on youtube, but only in dutch. :-)
The Kurt and Dave salute to the audience at the end of Where Did You Sleep...was so funny 😂 😂 😂
I love the tons of Nirvana music and videos over the last almost 2 year hiatus from life and it’s Been gratefully appreciated and fun to hear from folks in our tribe of for me the kids now esp us all 30-45 year old heads. I’m 38 on the 20th. The passion for music and especially the music of Nirvana. My first favorite band and start to life As a 11-17 year old and a hiatus from my youth and music journey to come full circle is a blessing to be honest. I needed this music then. I need this music again and it came back to my plate over Covid and I am so in full love with it all and thank you all and the band.
lol they and their peers are generation x not millenials xennials
@@jhijhigi6610 you are correct. They are all the same as peers. But I’m not sure if you are trying to be cool or just stupidly chirping. Glad you are doing well at being able to enjoy yourself and what the different generations are called. You must be a quick study kid or a loser immature old man and example of the people who don’t belong in the tribe of the artist and music freak types and respectfully living with the light and soul of the band and point of the music. I’m sorry I waste my time responding did you read anything else I wrote or you were just ready to be a troll and contribute to the heap of things that make the world worse.
Bro, same here Nirvana came back in my life at just the right time the world was going to shit from the bullshit unseen force we call COVID, just as I needed an outlet Kurt and the crew smacked me in the face like a ton of bricks and settled in nicely making me honestly a different person...
@@tommyflanders3680 needed a little more grit and a reflection of the strange times and the things that are fixed with the return to my roots and the grinding sounds and energy for which I will say I didn’t need for 20 years of my musical journeys to the sun and baxk
Thank you so much for these !
Hole are also on the bill at this gig.
This is the first time Kurt and Courtney cross paths since Oct 12th in Chicago, when they first got it on (her having been kicked out of Corgan's apartment).
The next day (24th Nov) Hole plays 1hr 30m away in Nijmegen while Nirvana go to Amsterdam (gig cancelled). After Hole's gig, Courtney pays Nathalie Delisse, bassist for Bambix, 150 guilders to drive her to Amsterdam to be with Kurt.
Kurt and Courtney score heroin in the Amsterdam RLD (Kurt's idea). They get high and shag. Courtney leaves on a train for Paris, to continue Hole's tour of Europe.
It was between this show on 23rd Nov and Courtney leaving Amsterdam on the morning of the 25th that Frances is conceived (born exactly 9 months later).
And the rest is history...
They were dating and talking a lot on the phone in oct/nov
I never thought about that, I always assumed Francis would have been conceived sometime in 92` but your timeline totally makes sense.
@@ametyste0992 his last name is Dickens. nuff said!

I get now the whole celebrity shit Kurt went through. Just imagine, you're chilling with a friend and suddenly ppl are trying to get pics and follow you everywhere. Its a surreal experience and I feel Kurt felt it was so absurd. Dude just wanted to rock and honestly who would've thought they'd blow up as big as they did?! Hyper surreal celebrity status in less than a year. This for a guy who just wanted to rock out and have fun but never expected it to be more than he could handle. RIP Kurt
