Man, to go back to 1992 . I miss Kurt, and those days so much
5 месяцев назад+8
Well, I`ll bring you some reality: you didn`t know him, he was a miserable sob and the good ol` days wasn`t that great. I`m 54 and 22 in 92. I remember the doom and gloom era from 91 to 94. We were glorifying depression. The irony generation (X) came out of that. And then came the 2000s and music became sh!t because the Millennials were snowflakes LOL
Kurt looks at the black Stratocaster he just strapped on thinks, “I’m so gonna smash the hell out of you tonight. They think you’re my second song guitar, but you’re my smashy guitar.”
This is the first time I've understood how controlled Kurt's vocal technique was. I always believed he was straining/shouting and giving it everything. He makes it look like that in so many performances. But here, before the "proper" cameras roll, you can see the same signature sound, but it's effortless e.g 2:42. His whole apathetic anti-musician shtick was genius, because beneath it was a real depth of skill.
man i was just thinking THE SAME THING!!!!!!! nice to see kurt doing that effortlessly, he’s hitting those notes more smoothly than normal, i guess maybe the type of drive he did was bad, but anyway
As shitty as the very early 90s were culturally, Nirvana was like an atomic bomb explosion, that woke up the world and breathed new life into a lost generation. Now in the 2020s, for the first time in history, the music does not reflect the times. If we only had a Nirvana type band today to wake up the masses, the world would NOT be falling into these dark times. All hail Kurt and one time used, right handed, strung up left handed, pawn shop guitars!
It was 30 years ago this month that we lost Kurt. A beautiful tribute to have this released in April 2024. Thank you from a huge Kurt and Nirvana fan in Seattle.❤
