@Ronald Drump This Danny Peters fellow sounds like a real chump..
Pity he's a satanic sellout nowadays
God is good. Repent and believe the gospel. Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead. You can be forgiven. You must be born again. There was a woman who had an alabaster box of very precious ointment and she poured it on the head of Jesus. We need to honour the King. The Lord God. ”that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.“
John 3:15 KJV. The Lord Jesus Christ. Repent means change, change from sin. Turn away from sin. Love and fear God. Call on the name of Jesus Christ. Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. He saved me. There is the lake of fire which is burning for eternity and there is heaven. I have eternal life in heaven because of what the Lord has done. Be ready for the day of judgement.
They were the funniest most awkward people I've ever seen. They're amazing!
Real people
yeah, just real people. I know more awkward people and way more funny people. but not this famous and funny and awkward. We all are just people.
They blow
Absolutely amazing! Hard to find characters like this anymore
This is how everyone was on the 90s
It's uncanny how popular they were even before Nevermind. I remember being shown the Bleech cassette by a metal friend around the corner who was a total fan of theirs back in '90. Nirvana actually stayed in my town (Bergenfield, NJ) briefly while doing shows or some other business in NYC. I remember seeing them in a parking lot across from the billiards hall, going up to where there were apartments. I remember laughing when some girl in their entourage told my friend and I that Kurt was the future of rock. we laughed because he seemed so small, and his hair wasn't even long (remember this was hair band time).
Oh my god wow! That's something special
Phoebe Dowling Hello again!
woah that's crazy my parents lived in Bergenfield at that exact same time. small world.
im from jersey too this is all especially interesting to me because i was born in 03
The whole Sub Pop/Seattle thing exploded at the tail end of the '80s and dominated the US underground music scene by 1990, which was basically an evolutionary extension of the punk/hardcore scene that I'd been into since 1982. Everyone in the scene knew of Nirvana simply because they were on SubPop. Bleach was generally thought to be good if not great. Then they put out that Sliver/Dive single, and everyone said, "Oh man, these songs are totally killer. Their next album is going to be fucking amazing," and they started really picking up a lot of steam and were suddenly super popular, right behind Sonic Youth and Mudhoney. When Nevermind came out, I thought "Man, everyone would love this if they just gave it a chance. Too bad nobody will ever hear it." A couple months later, I felt pretty stupid. But I don't think anyone honestly thought they were going to be huge and mainstream. I would have laughed at that chick too.
I love krist, he can always seem to cheer me up.
Krist: Time flies when you're having fun.
Kurt: *uncontrollable laughter*
i love the fact that they were all such good buds
thats the only way a band will work !!!!! i swear to god
Enzo Ferrari he become a duche in ff days
Usually all bands are. Unless it's falling apart.
But Kurt ended up hating nirvana 😅
Were they? I think Krist and Kurt were. Dave not so much.
This whole video made me smile, it was nice seeing kurt smile and be happy.
kurt always smile he is not a fuckin emo
+Wardo Melena of course not mate, but he seemed like he was having a lot of fun in this video.
+Wardo Melena Kurt did certainly not smile a lot for quite a few years!
He hated the fame and everything that was expected from a huge band like Nirvana became. He hated rhe interiews, promo and all that staged shit.
He also seemed like he hated to perform when they got famous.
I did not see him smile much those last years of his life.
If that was because of the fame, the drugs, depression, problems within the band or other things can only he answer to.
But he wasn't happy like he's here.
You nailed it. How many heroin addicts shoot up and then kill themselves in the most violent way possible? Just Kurt? Yeah, ok. Kurt being depressed and miserable came from one source...and that source sold it well. Courtney Harrison.
Rick Chyczewski Kurt being miserable came from Kurt. He wrote in his journals about being suicidal in his teens and wanting to throw himself off a roof. After being bullied really badly he also tried to die by laying down on the traintracks, but the train went by on the other track. Also, have you seen the photos where he's putting guns in his mouth? He was seriously depressed and fighting off suicidal thoughts for quite a while. It's obvious.
People were funny, different and unique in its way. Everyone had their personalities. Damn druggy 90's. Freaky music, sexy people.. What else you need?!
+Moozy Mathers Agreed. 2015 is just far too....normal. It's like as a society we're becoming homogeneous and far less adventurous or creative in a cultural sense. I miss the weirdness of the 90s. I was too young to really appreciate it all....I was 7 years old when Nirvana was filming this.
+avedic There's plenty of freaky music and sexy people now, the only difference is they seem pretentious, rehearsed and unnatural.
bootling Sexiness isn't about being naked. Just so you know.
+Moozy Mathers Clearly you don't understand me. I'm agreeing with you. When did I say anything about being naked?
bootling No, you said; _There's plenty of freaky music and sexy people NOW_. There is no now, now it's all shit. Yes, I know what you meant. People these days are half naked, and so called "attractive". But, it doesn't making them any sexy. If your personality shit sucks, you're dumped in ugly phase already. If your brief was like this, then sorry and I agree with you. If not, clear things up.
8:42 Krists reaction is so hilarious. I can't stop laughing
"Start driving normally! What's your problem?!" 😂
You can really tell that Krist was the life of the party back then. Always being a dork and just having fun. Never a dull moment or awkward silences around him. He'd be so much fucking fun to tour with.
He’s a stuffy conservative now :(
@@rosebigrose7849 That’s the contemporary go-to answer for anyone who doesn’t tow the line for the newest batshit ideas out of universities and Washington DC elites. That is, contemporary ideas that would make a 1990 vegan Portland hipster run for a Big Mac.

@@revengeof1307 idk fam.. i felt like I heard something there
@@revengeof1307 actually Kurt played drums for a long time, probably around the same amount of time as he had played Guitar. He wasn't incredible, but he was very good, if you wanna see some more examples of him playing watch Nirvana's cover of Seasons In The Sun
@@MassiveMiniGaming listen Im not trying to shit on you or Kurt but, seasons in the sun isn’t hard to play. I mean yeh he keeps tempo but thats not necessarily good by any means. I’d have to hear him play something a bit more challenging with articulation. Ive been drumming for 13 years now and thats probably something you’d learn after playing for a month.

These guys knew how to have fun. They were the type of people I would have loved to hang out with! Miss you Kurt.
This is so fucking cool , its like I'm on the plane with Nirvana .
this video is a quarter of a century old.
Damn, I forgot I'm old too.
matt jones this look very early the form they talk

Wow, I had just turned 11
I love how they communicate almost exclusively in in-jokes. Really tight-knit band.
Love how you can hear dave listening to Sweet dreams on the plane
krist was genuinely a happier person when kurt was alive, always making jokes and making people laugh.
Like with Johhny Rotting losing Sid Vicious. He lost a true friend
i love this raw footage
Krist and Dave are on Shepherd's Bush Road here. The Dome Cafe was 98 Shepherd's Bush Road; it's now a Cafe Rouge. It's across the street from the Dalmacia Hotel, where Nirvana stayed while in London.
I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for your comment , I have been searching for the cafe for sooo long omg thank youuuu!!
all our pretty songs That's awesome, I'm so happy to help with that! :)
It's now Le Petit Citron.
Ahh this makes me wanna get out and look for this fun. It must be out there still hiding... People like this must still exist! There are bands that are sill rocking out, being stupid and free. I will find them or perhaps they will find me. This cold electronic age gives me the creeps..... Need a balance.
+NuChemicalGeneration There are, plenty of people/bands like that in my town man
Me too man
try out Wavves and The Sleepies
thanks : ) I need to find the right place in london.
I'm SO with you, man!
I wanna go out, drink some beers in a park or something. Go to a cool, local concert. Drinking was more fun when I was to young to drink and we had nowhere to go so we had to find parks, empty houses or whatever. Then we went to these garage rock band concerts with 30 peoole. But in fact those are the times I remember as fun because everything was just about living in the moment.
Now I'm old and ofcourse "adults" can't go buy beers on a monday afternoon and sit in a park drinking. I wish I could hang out with teenagers and poeple in their early twenties. They're fun.
But this little shithole if a town is just garbage.
I envy you. I'd love to live in London!
Isn't there things happening all the time?? All kinds of bands and musicians? Everything from jazzclubs like the ones Amy Winehouse started singing in, to punk-pubs like the ones The Pistols hung around in?
There must be small gigs every day of the week with unknown band playing?
I wanna live in London!
Go out, for crying out load! Live your life! You'll meet so many cool people, I'm sure! At least you'll meet Mick Withall or what his name is. He's probably hanging out in the same bars now as he was 10-15 years ago :-D
He seems ... interesting ;-)
Damn I wish I was On a Plain with them... ;)
I couldn't complain :)
Somewhere I have heard this before :)
+C ourage what the hell are you trying to say?

I wish we had hours of footage like this. I didn’t personally know Kurt…but I miss him :(
Your idea?
Kurt: Burrrpppp!!!!!!!
Kurt was hip 🤘
Wow, I bet Dave hasn't flown commercial since about '92 or so and Dave was only 21 here. Wow, to be that young again and knowing what I know now. That would be Amazing.

Kurt is always so quiet and understated :) I like that. a drastic difference to his charisma on stage.
Having your own camcorder in the 90s and early 2000's was always really great fun. Just making home movies for fun. Messing around with your friends. So pure.
Ahh, this must have the been the happiest moments in their career. Not quite famous but gaining a lot of ground fast, an still having time to enjoy it all.
10:07 Love that arrival of Kurt with that music haha
Dave is rockin' the original "Ombre" hair! Rad!
Courtney said on howard stern Kurt didn't like Dave (actually she said he hated him)..yet every video I see Kurt is next to Dave chilling, what a liar
I think Courtney wanted Kurt to hate everyone he cared about, to isolate him so she could have him all to herself. Here's a quote from Kurt:
"I can't think of any other band I'd rather be in. The only reason I'm in this band is because I like my friends, Krist and Dave, they're my friends and I like being around them and I like the music that we write. That's all that matters. Everything else is secondary."
Shows what type of person she is smh..
I know right, what I have come to believe is this :
When Courtney says " Kurt hates so and so and so and so and Kurt hated so and so and said they were shit... "
What she really means is this: "I hate so and so because they hated me first and I know no one cares so I'm gonna say Kurt hated so and so that way everyone will think it's valid. "
I have heard her being heckled by fans in some town and she actually said " Kurt hates this fucking town... What she meant was she hated the town but no one would care so she used Kurt's name.
She lies about everything like saying kurt killed himself and plus that yeah she's a bad liar too.
bruh they lived together for months
vlogging before it was hip lol
they are the original vloggers
7:28 Kurt laughing like a maniac and Dave saying "Kurt u okay man?"
Edit: took 6 yrs to realize Dave was living with Kurt around this time

This footage is straight up gold. Dang.
weird to watch this knowing that one year later, they would become HUGE
This is what a lot of people forget about Nirvana. They were funny dudes!
No iPhones or cameras in the audience. YESSSS
Man I'd kill for those days again.

Phoebe Dowling If time machines existed and you went back to this day and you happened to be sitting next to one of the Nirvana band members on the plane and you were fiddling with your iPhone, I can only imagine what sort of reaction you would receive from them.
cameras didn't exist until 1993
Nick Anchondo ....wow, no
This is just everything. I have seen countless concerts, but seeing Nirvana at Reading is still a major highlight. What a fucken band.
Whoa, u saw nirvana at reading? That's awesome. I would work that into every conversation and post also
Just so insane to me that here they are, not massively famous yet, about to go through so much in so little time
they were really famous in the uk at this time.
Nah..
I like that theyre listening to cassettes on the plane, i remember doing that...
3:50 Is it just me or Sweet Dreams playing in the background?😂
This month these videos will turn 23 years old... Rest in peace Kurt !! We love you man.
Wow, now it’s 33 years
This is amazing.. I love watching this stuff. You know you're a fan of a band when you don't skip forward and actually watch the bass player talking to a camera in an airplane bathroom about nothing at all lmaooo. Love these videos, feels like it helps to get to know their personality better, especially kurt.. Its more like you're hanging out with them instead of watching them perform or answer the same 10-15 questions.. I REALLY wish we could have gotten a Nirvana/Nardwuar interview. He's honestly the best interviewer I've ever seen. Does his research, asks 100% original and unique questions, brings up parts of their life unknown to the public.. He's Awesome, check him out. He mainly interviews rappers but they're so fun to watch because of how good he is and the people's reactions to the insane questions Are hilarious. Sorry, long comment. Thanks if you read lmao
He did interview nirvana
There is an intvw with Nardwar

Just imagine how mad this piece of history is. The people driving around in those cars or walking near Krist, Dave and of course Kurt, didn’t realise they were around soon to be superstars let alone be viewed on a media platform that wouldn’t exist for another 14 years. Pretty awesome this is footage of my home country also on the way to touring Leeds.
My God this is awesome...what a step back in time! I love Nirvana...such baby faces- hard to believe it was so long ago

32 years now. Time flies when you’re having fun.
2:53 - 3:06 they are SUCH children! gotta love em.
This was amazing. Thank you 💚
I remember reading a Led Zeppelin article around the time this footage was filmed before Nirvana became an international sensation wherein Mr. John Paul Jones stated that looking back at his time in that band seemed like it was "just a dream." I wonder if Mr. Krist Novoselic and Mr. Dave Grohl feel the same way, especially when the specter of Monsieur Kurt Cobain's demise hangs like a dark cloud over their past experience. It's always a bittersweet endeavor for me to see this kinda stuff so I can only imagine what it must be like for those that personally knew and loved Kurt
Funny,as I was watching this,I'd thought the same thing..as they were all just in their 20's..😥
Jen Drummond They were. Kurt died at 27, Krist was I believe 28, Dave was 27 as well.
I think he had the weight of the world on his shoulders, and when he left, he took something with him that can never be replaced, or duplicated....and i cant imagine the hole it left in friends, and family..courtney, frances and kris, etc

It's still great to see them 3 hanging out as buddies.
This is way more better than any vlogs today...
That clip of them on the plane to the UK in 1990 is pretty cool when you consider that very tour is what propelled them into what would become a global phenomenon. That European tour turned people on to Nirvana in a big way. When they got back to the US, labels were hungry for whatever they had. The rest....well, is history, as they say. But yeah....on that plane, they're 100% unaware of what's about to happen...
Damn, Kurt absolutely ripped that solo on Blew. I've never heard him get into a guitar solo like that
The music when kurt walks up to the bus was great like he was a supervillan
I remember watching the intro guitar stuff back in the 90s thinking how did he get that crazy amp sound? It's obvious now that it was the camera mic capturing the picking sounds in the room
Right at the beginning kurt playing the riff to Dear Rosmary!
You must be jocking right
Or Dave Gorhl stole it
***** well it's not gonna be the exact same but pretty similar. That could have been were Dave got the riff from and then just added parts onto it
So what song was he playing?
Sounds like a pretty generic riff. I’m sure you could find that progression in many other songs
This is absolute gold ❤
The way the music played and the narrator saying, "There's no telling where he's headed" when Kurt walked up to the van always makes me bust out laughing.
LOL
That shit was creepy, dude.

Man this is almost tear inducing. Parts of this clip were in the Live Tonight Sold Out! VHS tape. I watched it all the time when I was a 13 year old kid in 1996 and I thought these guys were so cool. Here I am at 41 watching this and seeing the whole thing and I realise these guys are just young kids.
This is so nice to watch! It makes me happy!
They seem like an group of real friends having so much fun! Joking around like real friends do.
Dave had a haircolor that was THE thing two years ago. He was just twenty someting years to early, haha :-D
Most rock'n roll guys wanna be huge. They wanna be the biggest band in the world. And some make it. But when they do, many says that the best time of their lives actually was when they were playing small clubs, driving across the country in a packed van and sleeping on the floor in crowded apartments.
Like Nirvana does here.
Why is it like that?
Thats before big companies and big money own your soul.. in the beginning its almost always purely about the music !! Nirvana represented that to a T !!!
Because when you become famous people have no self control and want to have every single part of you with no boundaries.
No pressure or vultures. U can trust ppl. When u become larger than life u can't trust anyone. Ur ego makes u think u Kno everything thus pushing away ppl who treat u like the person u were before u were famous
Imagine a cover of Sweet Dreams by Nirvana
I totally see it!!! Took me a sec but now that I see it i really wish it had happened. I see them playing it pretty slow down tuned then kurt exploding into a screaming frenzy when he gets to the chorus again.
One of my favorite videos.
Dave plays so hard I’m shocked he doesn’t destroy the kit every song.
