I started with making electronic stuff and I think I’m gonna end up producing EDM 😂. It was a fun episode to produce drill and trap beats but I got too bored of making them. Although, it’s hard to predict the genre I’m gonna make in a couple of years 😅
@@Zdrewe Totally feel you on that! Making ”beats” gets very repetitive very quickly I think. It’s cool to see you do DnB and stuff though, it’s a super difficult genre to mix I think- I don’t really understand how you do it! 🫣😅

10+ years fl user here,fl piano roll is superior, it makes me easy to make “slide”, strum, arp etc note,i loved it, but honestly ableton is gold! organized track/midi grouping, routing workflow, automation stays on the track. Fl 20+ can do consolidating track directly on session view to but it will complicated if the track in mix bus, in ableton consolidating process directly to output channel without fx not through to main channel but direct!!❤ even in complicated routing route. Freezing feature is badass!! No doubts!!. Sound design? Yeah ableton has a ton superior features and workflow. I moved to ableton on January 2024 it just take me 1 week to switch it
You basically went through some of the features that in made me switch from FL in 2014 🤝 enjoy your stay at Ableton gang headquarters 😎

I do reverb on bass, can help to create expansion… dummies will not understand. C’mon there’s not really a rule to produce music… these effects are sick! I do use a lot of ableton plugins too, lately they been getting better
Exactly that! Maybe there are some fundamental rules here and there but they mainly apply for mastering (even not for mixing). The rest is all about creativity and imagination
With how much these Daw cost, they should have the best plugins, great video

If you can't make stock plugins sound good you're not in a place where you can make a paid plugin in the same category sound great either, meaning you're literally paying for presets (which can be fine and worthwhile too obviously, but you're not getting the most out of your purchase that way).
