176k miles here with top mount single turbo... car been reliable but I don't daily it much anymore mostly only for shows/weekend. Car is in perfect body shape, flawless clean unlike other e9x 335i's I've seen out there.
This channel has been a valuable resource for me over the years and has saved me a lot of money doing the work myself on my 08 335xi with ~121K miles. Your DIY's are very informative and gave me the confidence to tackle jobs like the valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, HPFP, ZF transmission service, brake rotors & pads and of course the dreaded water pump. Thank you for making valuable contributions to the N54/BMW community.
I bought my 335i a yr and a half ago...with 186k😮💨...but besides a auto trans hose leak and voltage regulator both fail, I haven't had any real issues luckily
Yes!!! We all need more N54 content! It’s the best!!! Mine is on it’s third engine and sixth set of turbos at 200k miles 😂 (Same broom for 10 years with new handles and brushes along the way 😂)
The ORIGINAL OG😂😂😂 I still remember when you were changing injectors and #6 REFUSED to come out. Still subscribed but if it's not 335i I'm not interested. Keep up the good work. 😊
I had me one for last 9 years. And following your many movies. Thankyou so much its great to be one Family Bmw fans. Strong stg2+ and 160k mill... still loved
I was told when I bought my E90 2008 328i that the expected average cost for the car was about $1,000 a year. I've kept records of my expenses and that number is still about right. Some years is more, some years is less. And that's with some work done at the Dealer.
For my 2011 bmw 328i e92 n51, the repair costs have been enormous, despite doing most the work myself. Owned for over 10 years. Looking forward to selling it soon. Never want to go through replacing an evaporator core and valve cover gasket again.
Your channel has helped me a lot along the way. Thank you for all your content. Take it from me you gotta do the viv 19t's with 2" ins and outs and a custom tune. You'll love it!
I replaced spark plugs and coils on my 2011 335IS a month ago due to misfire on cylinder 2, and now the electric fan will come on full speed sometimes regardless if the engine cold or warm. Any idea why is doing that? By the way, car runs great after I replaced spark plugs and coils. Thanks
I have had my e90 n54 for sixteen years all DIY Maintenance cheaper than any other car I have had to maintain I have also FBO 17Ts great sleeper makes those big boys stand up and say WHAT THE HELL!!
2022, yep the JB4 works with all M340i years. I have an install video for the JB4 when I did it on my M340i 👉🏻 ruclips.net/video/eAf87bsXeos/видео.htmlsi=ojOg3eiDoGHRMqKH

Yep especially buying at 92k miles in 2013 and nothing was done prior so I was hit hard with literally everything, but the last 5 years has been good! Knock on wood 😂
Thanks guys for watching! Appreciate the support 🙏🏻
Hello there. Are you still in contact with Nick for the CIC retrofit system?
Can you post his current info again? Thank you
@@locoviejo1ableNick unfortunately is not doing that anymore

I have had my 06 335i since new and not a problem just general mainenance.

N51? Interesting. I can imagine and evaporator core is no fun but a valve cover gasket is very doable.

Great video and very informative. Thank you.

Thermostat is bad. Go change it. And might as well change the water pump since it’s right there
It's a beautiful car... I wish I'll get one someday, they're very expensive where I live
On my 4th 335i

Hey bro i was just wondering what year your bmw m340i was? I have a 2021 bmw m340i and wanted to see if the JB4 tune would work on my car's year ECU.

Great maintenance cost summary! I must say I am surprised the JB4 has still not broken your engine.
Stock trans?
Yep, shifts like butter
dam thats so high in maintenance
Not really at all. It would be more interesting if he broken it down to a cost per mile.
Imagine if the dealer did it🥴
I have a lot of the quotes awhile back before the channel and yeah wasn’t doing that 😂😂
So happy to see you still have the N54 🥲
Will keep it forever honestly 😊
@@BMWFanaticCorrect move as while The new ones are better in some respects, they are a lot worse in many others.
8000$ in 5 months of ownership 🤣😭

Exactly

But the price of new ones just ain't worth the extra $30,000. when the $4500 335i with 10 to 20k in maintenance and mods is a reliable daily monster..
