Let’s be honest. The only real way to make the 335i reliable/dependable is to get it running perfectly and never drive it again. That said I love my 335i and I do my own work mostly. I drove it 3 hours yesterday to and from Atlanta. I love everything about this car. Especially my drop top. (E93)

Hello I have a issue with my 2008 335i that I have Ben trying to get back in the road for the past 2 months !!Please help me I’m a father of 5 kids and I have Ben spending money and time away from them for this car please help
please answer me! Is it worth it getting a well maintained n54 with 150,000 milew that just had all new cooling hoses valves gaskets etc, carbon cleaned and building it up to 500-600hp or is it too old??? is 150k miles on an N54 too high?
There’s guys out there with 150-180k miles making 800H.P.! If the previous owner changed the oil when he was supposed to I wouldn’t worry about the miles! Just make sure you have a tuner that really knows his shit! People wanna run 700h.p. out of these & they’re surprised when it blows up, oh this engine sucks? No it doesn’t it’s one of the baddest engines out there! A lot of times cars are pinging slightly and over looked or they’re running crazy boost levels. Stock pistons are good for 600 & the rods are good for 700. That doesn’t mean a rod can’t give out at 650hp, every engine is different! I don’t know why everyone doesn’t just buy a set of rods & pistons & throw them in with a one piece spline? Then you can run 800-900H.P. all day! Anyway hope I helped….🤷🏻♂️
You said in the beginning of the video, you do everything the best on your car? Why didn’t you run a phenolic spacer in between your aluminum head that gets hot as Fu** & cast aluminum plenum…? I just installed a BMP/Phoenix plenum on my 135 & couldn’t see not adding the phenolic spacer. It makes to much sense! You don’t wanna bolt something you’re trying to keep as cool as possible, to an extremely hot aluminum head…🤷🏻♂️🥵
