10-year-old who jumped into action after grandpa passed out at gym is honored for Feel Good Friday

EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley in Idaho Falls and Pocatello are partnering to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
A few weeks ago, 10-year-old Zayden was at the gym with his grandfather when his grandpa passed out. Zayden yelled for help, called his grandmother and remained calm during the stressful situation.
Grandpa ended up being ok and Zayden was a hero of the day with the way he handled the situation. Even though he was very upset, his actions helped his grandfather very much.
We decided to honor Zayden for his actions and surprised him for Feel Good Friday. Check out the video in the player above.

A true Hero that LOVES his grandpa so much! I am in Congestive Heart Failure. I instructed my grandson early on to remail calm and get my phone and call 911 He now has a phone so use his. I told do not call anyone else until he called 911.After 911 call his Mom and if he cannot reach her to can GeeGee. He and I hang out quite often and I wanted to make sure he does not freak out and be paralyzed with fear. I am so glad Grand Pa is doing much better!

If you've not already, PLEASE consider naturopathic/TCM (traditional chinese medicine) remedies and supports. So much can be done that is overlooked in Western medicine & we all deserve a chance to heal and be well. Please take my words as those of care and compassion, nothing more or less 🙏🏾

That was the most sweetest thing i ever saq i liked the gifts too! Very simple but heartfelt and what he qanted his eyes lit up very organic he wasnt sure what to say but he had a genuine heart ❤ loved the story hope he enjoyed it all !

Awww, brought tears to my eyes. Kids love their grandpa's. Similar situation, our grandpa was sweating profusely at kids game and had to take him to hospital. I drove home with a carload of hysterically crying kids worried about grandpa. He's good.
