I literally almost started crying. Wish we had more stories like this than showing the worse part of humanity not doing great things. I never knew there were so many ways to tie a tie until I worked at a high end store selling high end suits and we learned to tie every conceivable knot there is known to mankind. The windsor knot was the one that just made the shirt and suit pop out. It gave you that military style look.

    • @krane15
      @krane15 6 месяцев назад

Don' t make false statements. Police do not "risk their lives" to save anyone. In fact, the first thing they typically say to the public is something that goes, "for MY safety". The Police are under no obligation to save anyone.
In actuality, its firefighters, and paramedics/EMTs that risk their lives to save people. Never forget that.

This video is staged. It is fake. It is insidious propaganda. This did not happen.
But it was successful in its purpose, which was to deceive people. To cultivate an unearned trust, respect, and appreciation for an organization that is largely out of control and with qualified immunity, almost completely held unaccountable for the crimes they commit against a public they swore to protect.
Because of their many decades of abuse of power, and the trust the public placed in them, and with the ubiquitous nature of cellphones now giving nearly everyone in the public a camera in their pocket at all times, thus revealing their systemic viscous abuses in a way never possible before, they have a serious reputation problem, which they try to mitigate and manipulate with fake videos like this.
You can type "Police help tie" right here and see for yourself 50+ other vids of this exact staged copaganda with your own two eyes. What an amazing coincidence that cops all over the country are randomly helping youngsters tie their ties before going to a job interview or whatever the script says. And all caught in perfect framing. Amazing.
Did you know that the Supreme Court ruled that police officers have absolutely no legal obligation whatsoever to "Protect" the public .. at all .. zero .. none? Well, now you do.
They aren't even obligated to know the law. They are legally allowed to lie to you though. And with qualified immunity, they can toss a flash-bang grenade in your baby's crib, in the middle of the night, bust in and shoot everyone, and then say "oops, wrong house" .. and face zero accountability. That's not a story I just made up for an example. That's a thing that literally happened. Infant was in a coma with 3rd degree burns for months, but thankfully survived. Mom wasn't so lucky. And that isn't just a one-off situation. "Serving" the public isn't even on their list of things to give a single f about.
They stopped putting "protect and serve" on the side of police cars a lonnnnnng time ago for exactly this reason. And they intentionally removed it from the cars that did still have it. Their entire mindset is "Us vs Them" now, and they are trained to think and act that way. This is the sad truth, and the sooner we come to terms with it, the better. ☮

This is wonderful! I am a community college professor in Cleveland, Ohio, and I have had many young male students who don't know how to tie a tie. Many of these young men never had any positive males figures in their lives to teach them. My father taught me how to tie my tie when I was a boy. I help anyone who needs it. Also, at my college, we have an program that provides donated ties to our young men who need them. In addition to this, we have an etiquette luncheon twice a year for students. We stress that good eating habits are important in the professional workplace, as many job interviews and work activities happen around meals. It is nice to see the students absorb and learn things they were never exposed to!

Very heartwarming story. Such a kind officer to give a warm feeling, he really save that lost boy. Now the boy is a respectable member of the community and one day, he too will also help someone in need because he will remember the day this officer saved him.

Good on this officer. I learned when I was a kid.
Then, in Marine bootcamp, we were also instructed on how to tie a tie and the difference between a full Windsor, and a half Windsor.

Great story! As a HS teacher, I tied lots of ties for grade 12s attending their grad ceremonies.
Still, someone should introduce Drew and his Mom to the Internet.

I thought the same thing. Watching this video on youtube, the same youtube that i learned how to tie a multitude of forms of ties from. In the time they messages and asked orhers they simple could of pulled up a video or website to show them how step by step.
Still though kudos to the officer.

This is what we need, a good example to the young men and women of today and a good peace officer who understands and interacts with the community. I sure hope you go places my guy. And sure hope your superiors see what and how you do it and gives you a chance to advance and teach other peace officers how to interact with the public. Kudos to you sir!

I’ve been a cop for 38 years and each and every police officer has done something kind to the average person over their career. From tying ties, to buying a homeless person a new pair of boots in the winter, to driving a person to his first day of work because he missed the bus. We are very humble and love our job.

I noticed that there happened to be a few Debbie Downer on here who don't appreciate the kindness of this police officer and were just waiting to put a negative spin on a positive story, thankfully you are in the minority and the majority of us appreciate the kindness of this police officer! And the fact that it's on RUclips, well, you are on RUclips watching it so keep your negative responses and negative attitudes to yourself, the majority of us appreciate a feel-good story during this difficult time in the United States!
