Well, her last known whereabouts are at a psych hospital. I'm assuming they let her go and she sorta just walked off. Probably safe to assume she is dead
There's so many extra layers to this. Was she released from the psych ward? Assumedly so, but wouldn't there be records of her being released? Were there and they just didn't mention it? And how was she admitted to the psych ward without them identifying her as the woman who kidnapped her son, and thus identifying him rather than putting him up for adoption. It's like even beyond the original mystery of the missing child being solved, there are even more mysteries.

Listen to the video again. So many reasons! It wasn't his first thought. The fact that his birth certificate was created a year after his birth, he was 4 years old when adopted, he was told he is half Native Hawaiian, but looks Euro, so he already knew his case was odd. Then, he saw a news story about a woman who found herself by looking on Missing Children websites, and the possibility of accurate age-progression images sparked him, made him consider the possibility.
@ Sophie Gregory His mother I believe did " a runner" no warning, no reason, no note, but rather self serving. No-ones going to talk about how the mother just disappeared and has still not been located?
That's pretty spooky
Well, her last known whereabouts are at a psych hospital. I'm assuming they let her go and she sorta just walked off. Probably safe to assume she is dead
sus
There's so many extra layers to this. Was she released from the psych ward? Assumedly so, but wouldn't there be records of her being released? Were there and they just didn't mention it? And how was she admitted to the psych ward without them identifying her as the woman who kidnapped her son, and thus identifying him rather than putting him up for adoption. It's like even beyond the original mystery of the missing child being solved, there are even more mysteries.
Yeah appearently no one cares that something horrible most likely happened.. We're just accepting the premise that she was crazy are we...?!?! A costody case from the 70s... It strikes me as very odd that they didnt touch on it MUCH more... Especially when she went through the trouble of changing her sons name and then she "mysteriously" dissappears from a psychiatric facility(in the 70s!).. I like how they used that word "mystery" like its a fucking fairytales and not a horror story with too many loose ends and this poor mother they all say was crazy.. something went down for sure.
How wonderful he found his dad. And that his adoptive parents were so great.
I'm just so glad the dad lived long enough to see his son again

Still don’t get why his first thought was to go on a site for missing children. Glad he did and that he’s found his dad.
@ Sophie Gregory
His mother I believe did " a runner" no warning, no reason, no note, but rather self serving. Father went to work returned home & both were gone The plan was to disappear, hence all the double dates of birth & skullduggery, anything to prevent the father accessing the infant despite desperately searching & the police being informed. Information gleaned later added to the story pre- adoption, this I found on another website ( short & sweet)
@@lynnhexler-haan3357 why did she have to disappear. All she had to do was use the family courts. They are totally against dads anyway. #EqualitygoesBothWays

Even though it's tragic that a lot of missing children are probably dead, it's somewhat comforting to know that maybe, just maybe, some of them are still out there living oblivious, but happy, normal lives. I hope more light is shed on these cases.

I remember, either on AGT, or Idol, there was that group who had all lost children that did a song. Probably the most heartbreaking thing I'd ever seen. I know those shows are mostly fake/scripted/whatever, but that group felt real, and there are way too many people out there with missing loved ones. Many of them probably children, and it hurts.

Just imagine how many little children are being sold or adopted by some perverts.

Thousands of babies sold from Ireland to america in the 1950s and 1960s. Shocking stuff
Probably very many, since most people are perverts.
It's worse when people keep children they don't want or know how to care for.

Being the first time father of a 5 month old boy, this choked me up bro.

isawondfl1 maybe the father wasn't taking care of himself AFTER the son went missing. Not knowing where your child is causes depression

This story is sketchy, what happened to his mom and how she disappeared. She was running away from something that something got her in the end..
The mom. Probably has a mental health disorder which was never properly diagnosed. If she would always go missing for a long period of time and then return. So she took the baby had an episode and got committed
Nothing sketchy. Mom should never ever had custody . are you struggling with the concept of a unfit mother might be the issue
She was definitely running. She wouldn't go out the way to change all their information

@@brenco7325 Or insane. She would easily change that information if it meant never tracing to the boy's father. There's not enough evidence to say if the mom was delusional, correct, or a mix of the two
