I like the lore implications that the Elden ring bosses would think Ludwig is the ex of one of the Carien nobles, "Who gave this man a moonlight blade, was it you Ranni!?"
So when I fight Mohg, he flies around, throwing blood everywhere. But when Ludwig the Holy blade fights Mohg, he stands politely in place, eating every attack.

it feels extra uncanny seeing ludwigs model in the light of day, it even unsettles me more than the corpse pile. And seeing the fire giant dwarf him like a small child just felt wrong, just goes to show how far we've come with our collosal boss fights. It was funny watching him BULLY the draconic tree sentinel though, that thing kept me filtered out of leyndell so many times I vowed never to fight it honorably again after my first playthrough.
How come Ludwig's first phase isn't in? I'm just curious because his full moveset would have made these fights more interesting, varied, and closer imo. He's much faster and has some crazy attacks during his first phase.
If I had to take a wild guess, Ludwig gets a cutscene transformation and that would have been too difficult to properly mod in. The ER bosses already have the cutscenes built into the game for them, but modding one in on a custom character might be really hard.
It's because most first phase and second phase bosses in these games are separate NPCs that have a shared health bar. Basically while you're fighting phase 1, phase 2 is hidden somewhere. Once either the threshold is met or phase 1 dies, phase 2 is then called. @tropicturtle9021 is right in that it'd be difficult to properly implement that.

Lifesteal works as a mechanic on the player because you can always not get hit. Against any other boss that is also slower in his attacks it's invincible

U know Malenia is soo strong and she can easily defeat Ludwig that they gave him a double health and disable her lifesteal. That gave him the utmost handicap just to beat her with barely survive even after he got big advantage.
I like to imagine this is what happened at the end of Ranni's ending: The tarnished followed the carian princess into the great vacuum of space where they met some eldritch abomination that they should have not discovered. We dont know what happened to Ranni, but the tarnished fused with Torrent and mutated into a horrid beast that lost its mind and uses his wedding gift, The darkmoon greatsword, to fight the demons of the past.
I guess because it's to much work to make one boss from other game playable in Elden Ring, and I believe other phases count as other boss because they are different models, and it will be hard to make it work properly.
It's impossible to my knowledge to make the Bloodborne transition into Elden Ring because it's not scripted, that's why most bosses in their own game get a 'home field advantage' so to speak, against bosses from other games. They get all their phases and play with the mechanics they were programmed for originally.
This would make it objectively not fair because every endgame boss has more health and damage than him at base, which wouldn't be all that fun to watch if every late game boss mops the floor with Ludwig.
Ludwig the mutant wielding moonblade horse. His weird moments where he starts talking to his sword. I was like this dude know his sword really well. fought that solo and yes one of the nightmare gameplay difficult in all videogames i played. If its the first time you will burst to anger or cry of the death punishment. He dies with dialogue and you will feel bad. Iconic
What’s the point in disabling the key component to Malenia? It’s what makes her so deadly in the first place. All the other bosses who beat Ludwig won fair and square, why not disable Destined Death on Maliketh? I’m having a hard time following your logic.

By how Malenia is designed, keeping her "rally" against anything that isn't a player just means she wins no matter what because their AI just isn't meant to dodge her attacks

Malenia’s lifesteal is different when y o u fight her because you have the ability to not get hit and the health increase was to match malenia’s bloated health pool it is NOT that deep

Demon of Hatred completely destroyed Sword Saint in a one sided beatdown whilst Malenia struggled against Sword Saint. I think he wipes the floor with Malenia if left unaltered. He is programmed in such a way that enemies apart from Sekiro and terror damage do barely any damage to him, which is the reason why only the shichimen warrior can beat him in 1v1.
@@HMCarsSOA Isshin won against Malenia only because her lifesteal and rot status effect were disabled. I'm not sure if you've noticed this but Garden of Eyes overly nerfs Malenia in most of the videos.

I did notice it here though, because it makes no sense for Ludwig to beat Malenia with original stats especially after getting steamrolled by fire giant and beaten by Godfrey. But i still think if raw Demon of hatred is pitted against Malenia, it would be unfair. I don't know if you've seen the older boss vs boss on a different channel for Sekiro, but even Sword Saint and Father Owl together didn't come close to killing Demon of Hatred.
Bloodborne bosses' aggressiveness is always a treat to watch. These Elden Ring bosses have to edge walk and do their shit like cutting off limbs or summoning or doing rituals, meanwhile Ludwig here just smacking them like he's playing whack-a-mole.
Because the outcome is so obvious it’s a waste of time. It’s like tossing rocks into a lake to see if they sink; you know exactly what’s going to happen every time, no matter how big or shiny or colorful the rock is. The only reason to nerf/buff bosses beyond satisfying the “my favorite boss can beat up someone else’s favorite boss” feeling is to let us see the movesets actually interact in a meaningful way. Every fight with a Nihil or Aeonia or Radahn meteor or Moon Presence health suck attack boils down to “does the boss use their unavoidable oneshot attack, and does it work on their opponent.” We’re not seeing stuff like bosses trading big cool attacks or dodging or getting clutch staggers or creating and closing distance in ways that kept it interesting and add up to a close or satisying victory in the end…we’re just watching two slabs of meat ineffectually slapping into each other until one of them decides it’s time to pull out their nuke and stop the charade of pretending it’s an actual fight where they are both capable of losing.
Its because ludwig is a big boss and his attacks are so slow in comparation with malenia if her has all her habilities its obvius who is the winner even without that habilities he has to double the life of ludwig to have a chance of defeating malenia
@@fly1ngG0PHER Uh, that metaphor about rocks completely turns on its head when you realize meteors are rocks, also if the moon which is essentially a huge rock in space fell in the lake. the lake would be evaporated before the moon could reach the surface. or if you drop a rock so big it expels all the water out of the lake. and since you haven't done it, yourself you don't know what's going to happen and even if we are talking about smaller rocks, you can never consider the variable of how big the splash will be, or how far will the water ripples from the rock will travel or how high you drop the rock which changes all the variable mentioned. also, many NPC battles like these on other bosses and channels show that it's possible to kill Mohg before he does the big blood ejaculation attack.
@@nicolasleal5644 Okay…then replace my poorly chosen verbiage of “rock” with “pebble of higher density than water.” No need to get pedantic, you know exactly what I meant by that, it is a very basic metaphor about rocks sinking in water as a predictable interaction between two things, not about celestial bodies atomizing lakes, you can nullify most metaphors if you feel like ruining the fun of wordplay but the ideas behind them are still pretty obvious to most people. And even if it is technically possible for some bosses to avoid these massive “I win” attacks somehow, we all generally know what those bosses are already, and the vast majority of fights are still pretty darn predictable and resultingly low-stakes as far as outcome is concerned, so the stuff that happens in between (to address your “ripple” comment) is still pretty moot knowing that. You can’t predict how many times Godrick will actually land a hit on unnerfed Malenia or in what order, but you can still be pretty sure she isn’t even going to be missing health by the time he’s evaporated, so who actually cares to watch? Not much of an underdog story happening if the dog is that far under.
I like to imagine Godfrey seeing right through Ludwig's grotesque appearance and recognizing that behind the monster is a noble warrior. He shows him proper respect before giving him a worthy death.
Personally, I think the Radahn fights should have his meteor fall ability disabled to give us a more proper showcase of these modded characters' actual combat prowess and abilities. Because their AI is NEVER programmed to dodge that ability, so it just One-shots everyone and ruins the viewing experience for that fight. I typically find myself skipping the combats against Radahn for that very reason. I never bother because there's no point.
Easiest dislike ever, you nurfed some ER boss to a ridiculous point when melania hit less than morgot and no rott or aoen damage, while you say just "No hp recovery" thats a straight lie.

Gael was the only boss that malenia didnt needed a nerf on the first round even though gael didnt even had his full moveset
U know Malenia is soo strong and she can easily defeat Ludwig that they gave him a double health and disable her lifesteal. That gave him the utmost handicap just to beat her with barely survive even after he got big advantage.
It's pretty impressive that he actually beat the Godskin Duo. Only her stupid health bar saved her.

I like to imagine this is what happened at the end of Ranni's ending: The tarnished followed the carian princess into the great vacuum of space where they met some eldritch abomination that they should have not discovered. We dont know what happened to Ranni, but the tarnished fused with Torrent and mutated into a horrid beast that lost its mind and uses his wedding gift, The darkmoon greatsword, to fight the demons of the past.
Ranni fused with the Darkmoon Greatsword obviously, to accompany her love in that quest.

I guess because it's to much work to make one boss from other game playable in Elden Ring, and I believe other phases count as other boss because they are different models, and it will be hard to make it work properly.

It's impossible to my knowledge to make the Bloodborne transition into Elden Ring because it's not scripted, that's why most bosses in their own game get a 'home field advantage' so to speak, against bosses from other games. They get all their phases and play with the mechanics they were programmed for originally.
Stop nerfing and buffing the bosses its more interesting to see how the original boss can fight against the original bosses

Ludwig the mutant wielding moonblade horse. His weird moments where he starts talking to his sword. I was like this dude know his sword really well. fought that solo and yes one of the nightmare gameplay difficult in all videogames i played. If its the first time you will burst to anger or cry of the death punishment. He dies with dialogue and you will feel bad. Iconic
What’s the point in disabling the key component to Malenia? It’s what makes her so deadly in the first place. All the other bosses who beat Ludwig won fair and square, why not disable Destined Death on Maliketh? I’m having a hard time following your logic.

Like Radahn literally one-shotting him with his crash landing? Or Hora Loux’s hyper armor shockwaves? By how Malenia is designed, keeping her "rally" against anything that isn't a player just means she wins no matter what because their AI just isn't meant to dodge her attacks

Malenia’s lifesteal is different when y o u fight her because you have the ability to not get hit and the health increase was to match malenia’s bloated health pool it is NOT that deep

Demon of Hatred completely destroyed Sword Saint in a one sided beatdown whilst Malenia struggled against Sword Saint. I think he wipes the floor with Malenia if left unaltered. He is programmed in such a way that enemies apart from Sekiro and terror damage do barely any damage to him, which is the reason why only the shichimen warrior can beat him in 1v1.
Demon of hatred is too broken to be used against other bosses, unless they get rid of the code that prevents taking much melee damage from ai enemies.
@@HMCarsSOA Isshin won against Malenia only because her lifesteal and rot status effect were disabled. I'm not sure if you've noticed this but Garden of Eyes overly nerfs Malenia in most of the videos.

I did notice it here though, because it makes no sense for Ludwig to beat Malenia with original stats especially after getting steamrolled by fire giant and beaten by Godfrey. But i still think if raw Demon of hatred is pitted against Malenia, it would be unfair. I don't know if you've seen the older boss vs boss on a different channel for Sekiro, but even Sword Saint and Father Owl together didn't come close to killing Demon of Hatred.

Bloodborne bosses' aggressiveness is always a treat to watch. These Elden Ring bosses have to edge walk and do their shit like cutting off limbs or summoning or doing rituals, meanwhile Ludwig here just smacking them like he's playing whack-a-mole.
and that is also why ER bosses look more menacing and cooler

What's the point of having the likes of Mohg and Malenia if you're going to nerf them and not show the fight without nerfs?
Mohg always gets shafted the worst, BvB channels should just start him at phase 2 if they're just going to dispose of his strongest attack completely.
Because the outcome is so obvious it’s a waste of time. It’s like tossing rocks into a lake to see if they sink; you know exactly what’s going to happen every time, no matter how big or shiny or colorful the rock is. The only reason to nerf/buff bosses beyond satisfying the “my favorite boss can beat up someone else’s favorite boss” feeling is to let us see the movesets actually interact in a meaningful way. Every fight with a Nihil or Aeonia or Radahn meteor or Moon Presence health suck attack boils down to “does the boss use their unavoidable oneshot attack, and does it work on their opponent.” We’re not seeing stuff like bosses trading big cool attacks or dodging or getting clutch staggers or creating and closing distance in ways that kept it interesting and add up to a close or satisying victory in the end…we’re just watching two slabs of meat ineffectually slapping into each other until one of them decides it’s time to pull out their nuke and stop the charade of pretending it’s an actual fight where they are both capable of losing.
Its because ludwig is a big boss and his attacks are so slow in comparation with malenia if her has all her habilities its obvius who is the winner even without that habilities he has to double the life of ludwig to have a chance of defeating malenia
@@fly1ngG0PHER Uh, that metaphor about rocks completely turns on its head when you realize meteors are rocks, also if the moon which is essentially a huge rock in space fell in the lake. the lake would be evaporated before the moon could reach the surface. or if you drop a rock so big it expels all the water out of the lake. and since you haven't done it, yourself you don't know what's going to happen and even if we are talking about smaller rocks, you can never consider the variable of how big the splash will be, or how far will the water ripples from the rock will travel or how high you drop the rock which changes all the variable mentioned. also, many NPC battles like these on other bosses and channels show that it's possible to kill Mohg before he does the big blood ejaculation attack.

And even if it is technically possible for some bosses to avoid these massive “I win” attacks somehow, we all generally know what those bosses are already, and the vast majority of fights are still pretty darn predictable and resultingly low-stakes as far as outcome is concerned, so the stuff that happens in between (to address your “ripple” comment) is still pretty moot knowing that. You can’t predict how many times Godrick will actually land a hit on unnerfed Malenia or in what order, but you can still be pretty sure she isn’t even going to be missing health by the time he’s evaporated, so who actually cares to watch? Not much of an underdog story happening if the dog is that far under.
I like to imagine Godfrey seeing right through Ludwig's grotesque appearance and recognizing that behind the monster is a noble warrior. He shows him proper respect before giving him a worthy death.
Personally, I think the Radahn fights should have his meteor fall ability disabled to give us a more proper showcase of these modded characters' actual combat prowess and abilities. Because their AI is NEVER programmed to dodge that ability, so it just One-shots everyone and ruins the viewing experience for that fight. I typically find myself skipping the combats against Radahn for that very reason. I never bother because there's no point.
