Loved this sooo much! So many nuggets from Rob and one of my biggest takeaways is starting from the end. I left the traditional big law finance space to be part of the future of work and build a business that empowers people to run their careers LIKE businesses they love. HOWEVER, I haven't fully carved out the end goal and broader impact. I'm clear on my mission, and I know the journey is the destination but Rob gave me some POWERFUL things to think about. Looking forward to more and thank you for this!

Dyrdek crushed it. Watching this day after Ken Block passed in the snowmobile accident. I find it a tad ironic you mentioned the other guests snowmobile accident that changed his outlook on life. I think Rob alluded to this, but the "wake up moment" for him was when he realized his company wasn't investable. It wasn't as dramatic of a wake up call, but it was still a call to action for him to learn and refocus his efforts.
What an incredible show. Never heard of Rob Dyrdek before but I'm so glad I stumbled on this podcast. I love his humility, transparency, and the idea of the club sharing financials as well. I feel like I'm in that position he was at where I want to plan out my future and the idea of reverse engineering is excellent - I'm going to pick up that book, Start at The End!
