      I grew up watching fantasy factory, always idolized Rob and admired his ability to do so many cool things and enjoy freedom. I understand that it was just Tv and a has lot changed since then, but seeing Rob on this great path and sharing his story, has really resonated well with me. I truly will take a lot from this. Thank you for having him on your podcast.

    Some parts of his life he automated (so that he can make the max amount the money) can bring immense joy and purpose to others. Such as cooking a meal, post production editing, going to the farmer’s market and meeting local farmers and discovering their products. If I didn’t know any better, it just sounds like he loves money (I will give benefit of the doubt he wants to give to his community and be in the service of others…)

I may not be able to afford a house or a new car but I have loads of free time to pursue my passions and my “jobs” don’t feel like work to me. Seriously, it just validates Rob so much more. .. Rob’s on a remarkable path (harmonizing his optimal personal life with extreme output that is backed / driven with data) and he makes the time to explain things he’s doing / learning so that it’s much more accessible for others to have what he’s found is so great (and Chris is helping bring it to us!). I’m super grateful that this video (and others like it) exist.. and I’m also grateful for positive commenters 🙂

    I remember genuinely enjoying the early seasons of Rob & Big and have generally found Rob’s public persona to be likable, even endearing.
    With that said, this episode was an absolute gong show.
    First, his style of speaking was friggin grating and utterly disjointed to say the least. The guy said “like” probably 400 times in that episode and couldn’t make a succinct and coherent point to save his life.
    Second, his “qualitative system” for measuring his life sounded wack. Mostly just confused and cobbled together bits of other self help types - Ferriss, Holiday, James Clear, with a smattering of Rhonda Byrne. Does the world really need another person slanging this banal, repackaged productivity pornography?
    Finally, his story about meeting his wife was thermonuclear grade cringe. “She swam with dolphins in Hawaii. This IS my wife. Let’s take a helicopter to go rescue some dogs.” Oh yeah this sounds like a guy I should buy an overpriced Google sheet from that’ll teach me how to qualitatively optimize my grind and help me “sell some businesses” and ultimately manifest a playboy model.
    I have enjoyed Chris’ show for awhile and think he’s an interesting and thoughtful guy. But this episode should have ended up on the cutting room floor.

      @Ouranos369 Год назад +2

      People are so fricken biased against him just because he is so successful. I see your point but it's not his fault these typical productivity advice actually works. Also how did he not make a coherent point when you were able to name James Clear etc? 🤦‍♀️ The reason he's trying to "repackage" advice is everyone is probably always asking him how to be successful and he's not a fricken guru ! he's just a guy with incredible luck, good frame of mind, and consistency in action who works hard and even makes things easier for others. People want a magical formula for his success but it doesn't exist lol that's what you really should have realized from this. It is interesting and absolutely deserves to be viewed. This guy is an anomaly in the matrix that is our reality. Hater 😂

    Ok if I just went according to the top hater comment I wouldn't have actually learned something. 27 minutes in and he may be a bit long winded but theres plenty of gems there. He says that the main reason he made money was he learnrd early on in life that time equals money and started focusing on how to acquire it. He says most people quit pretty quickly and another reason this guy is special is he never stops moving he doesn't back down or believe things to be undoable. Then he explains how hes streamlined his mind and life most successful people have learned that focus is extremely valuable and everything is always gonna want your attention so they delegate as much as possible. Now hes talking about how he makes other people's jobs easier for them with his incredible ability to frame things! I think thats his real super power I dont think people understand how much people wanna work with people who make it easier on them... so far really solid advice! I feel the people accused him of being long winded are just jelly. I mean no matter what knowledge and skills Rob has his situation is very unusual and has a dose of pure dumb luck because how does one guy take over mtv lol. You know he never like actually intended that he seems he was just enjoying his life. 😅

    I’m sorry but this guy was too much. Speaks at 100mph and says very little. Perhaps it’s just being a Brit but this guys had my BS detector going off the charts. This is the first of Chris’s podcasts I haven’t listened to to the end. It’s fine. I’m sure people like him. He’s just not for me. Onto the next one.

      Lol your bs meter? He’s worth 150+ million. Documented. So whatever he’s doing is working.

    I kinda get it. He wants to have a very specific defined level of huge success. Great. But personally I'm so happy not having millions and having the free flow life I have. He says he doesn't have to think about things by having everything scripted and run through protocols, but he's consistently having to refine his processes that he's doing that mind effort to not have the mind effort. Fair play, but totally not me!

    He clearly isnt tracking all the data if he doesnt realise he wife is for him for the money and helicopter rides. An extraordinary man who is successful but with some HUGE blind spots

      You’ve never had money. Lol when you’re a man who’s achieved his success, his wealthy is apart of him. The same way someone would be with him for his personality or looks, his money is a representa who he is. My uncle is a multimillionaire. He dates girls half his age. He’s told me several times: They’re with me for my money and I’m with them for their body. What’s understood doesn’t have to be explained.

      yes , i have the same feeling. he says like 5 times that he "didnt know how money even works" but then never elobarates on what that actually means. feels very intangible.

    My BS metter went off charts after mere 10 minutes and I can't go on any further. It's just mindless "money, money...I'm ideal...money, money...success...money, money" again and again and one can clearly see this guy's no idea what he's talking about.
