Thanks for sharing Oasis! Just want to clarify we run and pay for much of the lab testing ourselves since most brands don’t share their reports and don’t test for key contaminants
How can one find stories such as these¿ This was the episode that sparks my soul. The story about reselling free bibles blew me away. There's opportunities for everyone.....find them!!!
It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days
I read propaganda yesterday. It was like a marketing and sociology college class rolled into one. It’s remarkable how relevant a 96 year old book can be.
I grew up in Europe and we had to wear a uniform to school but in high school we had casual Fridays when you could wear normal clothes. I remember being scolded by a headmaster once because I came in a sleeveless tunic. He said swimsuits are not allowed haha Your talk about Levi's brought up memories! I wonder if that's where our casual Fridays came from.
A barbecue sauce company during the 80s in Taiwan turned Mid Autumn Festival (a traditionally auspicious day in Chinese tradition), into one where families and friends now exclusively barbecue in current day Taiwan. Feels like Taco Tuesday.
I think the best one of these is Coca Cola inventing Santa Clause as the fat happy man in a red suit so that People would drink coke during the winter and not just during the summer.
bro, baby showers, spring cleaning, wedding registries etc existed since for a LONG time, these companies just adopted it (come on uncle Shaan should know this, he is indian, ask your mom bro)
You guys should get David Droga on the pod. I did not know you both are into advertising and marketing. And Droga is the new age godfather of modern American advertising.
Gents, this was such a great episode. I shared this whole 'movement marketing' concept with my team and it helped us unlock a bunch of ideas for our software company. Excellent examples - thanks for sharing!
GS1 barcodes is the biggest latch, anchor, scam in the business world. At least in Mexico, they have a fee that varies depending on sales. Its racketing, monopolizing, or something, but its not right.
If it's got a barcode it's probably unhealthy (except for frozen organic vegetables/fruit)... I hope your app uses only a camera for picture analysis...
Every town has the information on quality of tap water publicly available already and accessible by a single Google search. The same can be said for bottled water brands as they are required to disclose the quality of their brand in order to sell the water. I mean that is how things work in Europe and I doubt that USA is different as it would be super weird.
Lol at Shaan piping in blockchain for some reason as a comparison to barcodes being invented. Blockchains still have not have any impact close to barcodes.
Michelin Tire Co invented the MICHELIN 5 STAR RESTAURANTS to get people to drive longer distances, causing more wear on their tires, to go to these supposedly higher end restaurants. Brilliant😳✌🏽hence forward to Michelin Chefs, Schools etc. All to sell more tires.
1. The water testing guy probably is dealing with very expensive lawsuits from all those big corporations that own the bad water brands, 2. The poster guy is probably facing court cases for charges of misleading by fear and selling something that is provided for free by local governments, unethical and unsustainable
Hey Cormac from Oasis here, unfortunately most brands don’t share their water quality reports and or don’t test for contaminants like PFAS/DPBs so we pay and run many lab tests ourselves
I mean just go to the brand, ask it for the report, read it synthetise it then acknowledge all the dangerous contaminants in ur water and their effects on ur health, take all that time if u don’t want to pay but peoples are willing to pay for that product, it’s not a scam
America has shopping centres popping up everywhere everyday, it's not like that here in Australia so line painting is not very much in demand here & I already know a mate that line paints, he told me he only barely survives on the wage he makes.
We want to make cool stuff that you actually want. Let us know here: forms.gle/4QAua1EAdQUjspr78

Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.

the fact that nobody talks about the book called Hidden Manifestation by Oliver Mercer speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance

There was also a campaign in the 70s, I believe, to put a music room in every home which dramatically increased piano sales.

Santas red suit comes from coca-cola ad campaigns
I think the best one of these is Coca Cola inventing Santa Clause as the fat happy man in a red suit so that People would drink coke during the winter and not just during the summer.

Spring cleaning is actually an ancient tradition.

Red Hat is an example of a free product that is sold for profit, and they make billions

Global Warming was invented just for that reason, man!
You said that Otis (the elevator guy) was inspired by Cirque du Soleil. I believe you meant something else, as Cirque du Soleil was created in 1984.
I always say EVERY is a business. EVERYTHING

Hey Sam! Next time you tweet that you’re visiting Cape Town in South Africa I’ll also be waiting for you in the busiest area 😂🇿🇦
That came out wrong.. I meant to give you a tour of the city!
I'm working on this app that helps you eat healthy by analysing the ingredients of the foods that you purchase
If it's got a barcode it's probably unhealthy (except for frozen organic vegetables/fruit)... I hope your app uses only a camera for picture analysis...

Don’t QR Codes take us to a website? So they are different… hmmmmmm business idea ?
Shaan please clean your mic
I failed to see how someone can compete in the barcode business???
Maybe QR code + blockchain for tracking...
Minnesota water is rust and will leave your shower rusty

Who drinks tap water anymore, tho?
1. The water testing guy probably is dealing with very expensive lawsuits from all those big corporations that own the bad water brands, 2. The poster guy is probably facing court cases for charges of misleading by fear and selling something that is provided for free by local governments, unethical and unsustainable
Yeah. Let's be afraid and do nothing for fear of the man. =)
Miles is probably in prison.
