There’s (also) a lot of stories where people ran out of money, built “that last rocket” and it still exploded, just saying - being broke doesn’t always mean you’re on the verge of greatness …sometimes it just means you’re broke.
As a woman, IVF is incredibly invasive and potentially destructive for the body. I do not know of any particularly terrible hereditary disease and would absolutely avoid IVF if I could.
Love this show. Always great guests and ideas. Personally: eyes art - phantastic, designer babies - only for severe family diseases and under medical advice.
Great episode. One thing: “Designer babies” is not a novel idea. The idea appears in futurist books - including in some cases with that exact name - going back at least 10 years.
For my wife, the 9 months she was pregnant was really special. Far more for her. But myself as well. It was an extremely powerful experience. I agree with Sam here. Will be interesting!
20:15 They're describing the movie Gattaca - where everyone picks the genes of their babies and they know from the moment you're born what the probability of your health conditions are
Surprised Shaan didn't elaborate as much on the Dexa scans when they were talking about personal color analysis. Dexa scans are the "personal color analysis" of anyone into health/fitness.
Guys, I hate when you name your RUclips videos and Spotify podcasts differently. Spotify podcast module is not great and I usually discover amazing podcasts, like yours, through RUclips. But I don't want to watch it for an hour and prefer to listen podcasts on a run, commute, shopping, etc. And RUclips algo is much better for discovery. But I can't find the episode on Spotify. I love the show, by the way. I'm a big fan. Since I discovered you a month ago, I have listened to your voices more than my wife's.
OMG I just thought the other day the skin problems (hives, dry eyes) I have is working from home so there may be mold in the house and I should get mold testing
@MyFirstMillionPod Excellent content! I've been binging your episodes since I found your channel. One of these business models fits me and my location like a golden puzzle piece. Thank you for this!
Can someone elaborate on how a personality test can be a turned into a "cash cow" as the title suggests? Unless you provide an entire service behind it, a simple test would not sell for over $29. You'd need to sell thousands a month to make it worthwhile and the CPA if you put ads on it would be eatingat least half of that fee.
That eye picture theme seems a bit weird considering they're talking about using eye scans for your identity in the future. Seems like a great way for identity theft only. You're paying a couple hundred bucks for it to happen😂
Isn’t that Porsche ad about getting laid from the movie “Crazy People”? I’m not sure it was an actual ad campaign from the company (although maybe they had to give permission?)
The problem I see woth cresting children in an unnatural way. Would be that there will be something off about those children. Like they might not have a soul. So they would be more open to cruelty or violence. Or non social. Have hard time making bonds or connections. But could be nothing also and they could turn out normal. But creating synthetic people. Could have consequences.
Sometimes I try and grow sequoia trees in Ohio in summer...so when I'm older I'll just be incubating like 10 babies in my backyard lol? Btw all the sequoias died
Man... I think Putin thought the same when he started vigorously celebrating Victory Day [end of WW2] in Russia. We all know where they are now-searching for Nazies in Ukraine.
Those three guys have no Idea of what is like going through fiv...do some research First....lots of tries, thousands spent and only a small Hope of It working out as you expected.

I did not know this was the ad professor guy. I love both of them separately. So funny.
Idea 2 - When you're being tee'd up for a warm, fuzzy, left field idea and chillingly, the answer is actually: eugenics.

In-n-out animal style. That’s a bar. 😂😂😂

I can’t believe they didn’t mention that movie in this conversation.
Was going to make a comment if someone else hadn’t.

That’s so cool. I always wondered who was behind The Ad Professor. Had no idea it was George.

@sam - intrigued by the self awareness quiz section. Have something to share with you on that.

The mold idea isn’t the best idea bc the test are too expensive to offer for free.
