After 50 years of being a full time musician, it is my opinion that Paul Carrack is one of the finest and most under rated musicians/writers of our times! What the hell is going on.....Play on sir.
after 50 years of being a full time air drummer, its my opinion that this is the most comfortable music I've ever heard and to play drums to. its just so dam relaxing and easy. I never realized back in the actual 80s how amazing this band was. Guess I was too distracted by the cold war and refueling bombers over the Atlantic. Old BOOMER here, re fueler. but the 80s were something special, Really. Now im listening to it again and WOW! how amazing is this band?.... OMG I wish I had opened my ears back then. But,.... now is the time. Even Q opened our ears to Silent Running so,,,,who knows? Just like Uriah Heap, they should OWN the school of rock, but , the greatest gathering of musicians and artists ive ever heard, listen to Uriah. Holy Shit what a band. nobody ever heard. its ok, this music is JUST FOR US WHO CAN HEAR IT. NO ONE ELSE. thanks. Nobody is underrated in the long game. we hear you, we are the few, the proud, the warriors of rock. Enter unto the Breach, and let loose the dogs of ROCK,....

His range is amazing. Most singers would run from these songs. Truly one of the best voices in entertainment today, not to mention his writing ability. It's a wonder why so little of the public knows of him.
It is the combination. kiddo. And the will to make people feel happy. Something that has become a very rare thing in today's America. Doing something nice to another human-being, just to get a smile has become a dirty sin in twenty-first century America.
I grew up with Paul's vocals on the radio during the 70's and 80's. Then life happened and I lost track of him right after Mike and the Mechanics. Just rediscovered him a year ago. Funny, when I was a kid I always thought he was just another pleasant voice among the many on the radio during those times. 28 years later I'm like wow, he truly does posses a "golden voice".
He's a LEGEND! Hall Of Fame in my book! 42 years he's been working! I love Paul, " How Long" ( ACE..74').." Tempted" ..( SQUEEZE..84')..." In The Living Years" ( Mike and The Mechanic's"...89')...He's a great guy too! Watch his Bio on here!

Esp. for me 1978-89 !!.... Great lifelong friends to this day , and we were on " The SPREE !! .. GREAT MUSIC and SPORTS too of that era were IT !! just look back !! ......*
Once again, as someone who for any number of reasons wasn’t able to see these artists first hand, thank you for making them available. The music is timeless.
the little things he does when playing guitar are all on point and add up to the complete musical picture. Needless to speak about his band - so much soul and precission. And the backing vocals completely hold the ground with his wonderful lead.
I've been on this concert and several others with Paul Carrack, solo and with band. He is so absolutely brilliant and underrated since so many years. And Paul is such a kind and friendly guy , got the chance to meet him backstage in 2010.

Paul Carrack is a class act. His concerts are out of this world. What a (golden) voice. Favourite singer of mine since I was 14, when Living Years was released.
Paul.. Sorry it took me so long to find u again...you have always been my favorite voice...Gave is hope on the prison yard CDC...Delano Ca...We had a couple of acoustic guitars...and a bunch of us singing The Living Years...The song was loud and beautiful as it echoed of the tall cement walls of the yard right about 9 PM before yard recall...Love you Brother...and your heart for sure...Thank you!

Paul Carrack is one of the best British musicians of all time. Totally underated. Simply one of the best. He should be an MBE at least. This concert proves it. How brilliant is he and the band!
Just watched an interview he gave. He's long time married ( to the same lady ) and has 4 children. He said he would be away from his family for too long if he toured in the states. He was 11 when his father died. He has his priorities in order. If he had made America a priority, he's be another Michael McDonald.

he was with Eric clapton ( last minute ? unmentioned ) with Eric Clapton MOHEGAN SUN CASino in CT . ( while i was in Vegas.) so fnnnnn pissed when i got home . V was planned and paided for about 6-7 weeksd before concert tickets were offered ....................
I totally agree after I bought a dvd called the strat pack 50 think it was called. Different artists mostly guitarists celebrating 50 yrs of the fender stratocaster. Many great artists on it and although I had heard the songs looking back and how long on radio yrs before I didn't know who sang them. Paul's performance on that dvd blew me away what a voice. Great concert actually I still play that dvd regularly.
