I always suspected Dan's wearing of comic book T-shirts might be his way of drawing parallels between biblical stories and modern superhero tales, It's like he's saying that our love for narratives, whether about ancient heroes or the likes of Spider-Man, really hasn't changed that much over time and perform the same functions.
Did I hear that right? Did Dan say, to deactivate the Golem you have to rub one out? In public or can you do it in the privacy of your bedroom or special cave? I don’t think Dan did this correctly. The way you’re supposed to do it is to wear all the shirts at once and you take one off to reveal the one underneath.
Normally if I see somebody wearing t-shirts with comic book characters on them, I'm not interested in hearing them talk. It's a testament to how compelling your words are that I don't pay attention to all the childish and dumb shirts you like to wear. It's obvious how much you enjoy your shirts too, I'm glad you wear them despite my opinions on t-shirts. I look forward to more of your intellectually meaningful content in the future, thanks for all you do Dan!
