I cannot appreciate enough that this video was just very much straight to the point and if it is subjective you didnt try to sell me. Youre real, just figure it out just like you did and then lightly gave a rec to give me a place to start. I like that you constantly say dont over think it, so true, no such thing as bring right and you do right not to advise people because they arent you! Instead of watching 2-3 hours from other people who focus only on screenprinting and outsourcing, you focus on reality, printing in house, on various printers, and talk only about your experience. I saw someone that I resnated with and happy i did because I closed the other videos, so valuble and time consuming good work!

Love this video and the information in it! So many gems! I’m a trademark lawyer, and just wanted to clarify a bit. Trademarks do not protect designs. They protect brands (names, logos, taglines, etc.). The risk with waiting until you’re successful to get a trademark is that if you later find out that you can’t trademark your name bc someone else already has the same or similar name trademarked, then you have to rebrand. And rebranding after you’ve reached success with your brand is likely to cost more money (energy and emotional distress) than getting the trademark upfront. Getting the trademark upfront ensures that you’re building a brand you actually own, and won’t have to rebrand if you’re infringing on someone’s else’s trademark.
Also, we all hate when we see someone else using the same/similar brand name as us (because people do copy!). A timely trademark registration is the only thing that will help you get their stuff taken down.
Just wanted to share some free advice. God bless your businesses!!

Hello Katrina thank you so much for this video. You are right I am not an attorney but one thing I have learned from a trademark attorney is to get your business trademarked as soon as possible because if someone gets your name it will mean that a lot of money will be spent trying to get a name back or in some cases a person may not be able to get it back and will have to start all over again and money could be wasted in the process of losing a name.
Trademarks are expensive that is one reason why I have not gotten mine yet or put the name out that I want to trademark. My daughter is looking to get into the hair business but we may use a generic name until we get her name trademarked just to be safe but we have to get more information to see if we can do this first. I appreciate all of your amazing videos and how you explain everything to us. I have learned so much from you. Thanks again and have a blessed day and week🥰

Thank you that's great stuff. I had a t-shirt company back in high school with some friends...we were straight hand silkscreening every shirt! Anyways, I'm a painter (artist) that basically works in all mediums except for oils. I've been wanting to convert my ability to paint into very art piece style shirts. I'm glad to hear things can be done so much easier now. I'm most def gonna do high quality photos or scans, and do digital transfers. I gotta find a good bulk t-shirt, hoodie, and sock distributor. If you can think of anything I'd be grateful.
Some quick constructive criticism.... You have so much knowledge and experience it seems with the world of crafting. If you planned out your videos better, without all the flif flaf and talk...it would go a long way. I almost clicked off cause it took almost 10 minutes to get to the info. You could hire someone to edit and produce your videos really quickly and cheaply...it would make a giant difference.
    Keep up the great work

They send it to you by 100-200-300 pieces etc and your logo is there ! Great quality . Most important stuff it’s a good simple e shop page and advertisement . Check your shirts and see which ones you like. I make shirts by hundreds at school and we like Gildan dry blend g8000 for the boys. Some like the heavier ultra cotton. The boys/girls who want soft shirts like Gildan soft style and Bella canvas. I personally like my next level shirts but have never printed on them.

I have found a couple of websites that have great prices for plain colored shirts in tall sizes, but if I want a cool or funny design I'm out of luck. Even big names like Nike and Reebok rarely carry Tall sizes. Your video was super helpful. I think I'm going with a 15 x 15 Powerpress from a review video I saw. I'm not trying to break the bank with this. Thanks again.
