Hey Ron!! That was the Lead lift! It attaches to my Sputnik weight giving it wings. When casted out it sends the weight 6-10 yards further depending on wind. Upon retrieving the rig the weight surfaces quicker for lighter retrieval.

Hi Mike, have you ever tried casting with a cast cannon?
Not yet. But I’ve been told by my buddies they don’t like them. I just never had the urge to use one. I definitely would try it though at least once if someone gave me one.
What is the purpose of your lead lip on the sinker guy spudnick ?
I’m making a video on it. To explain it better but. If you need more distance it makes it fly about 6-10 yards farther. But if there’s a strong current I wouldn’t use it.
