      Yes..We are flying on the Tui Dreamliner this coming Tuesday to join our ship in Palma,we initially booked our seats a while back on the Tui site,then last week I went on the Seat Guru seating plan,and my heart sank,as I thought we had the row with no window,but thankfully we hadn't,Its wrong of Tui not pointing this out,some poor passengers will be disappointed I bet,

      Hi, i perhaps should have added more information in the description which i have now done. The information i have provided relates to Dreamliner 787-8 but they also use the Dreamliner 787-9, on this one the affected row is 42. Visit seatguru.com and search for Tui airlines and you can see a plan of your plane with all seats with warnings shown. It is bad that they don't show these warnings when you are booking a seat on their site. Hope you have a great holiday.@@lorenzomag100

    Well done for highlighting this , we always go with tui as we have never had any issues with them.

      Thanks for watching Chris. We usually have faith flying with Tui, but this was certainly a bit of a shock. Not convinced by their explanation but hopefully all now will go to plan. 🙂

      Like Tui but in future will definitely be more careful about having seat numbers on our paperwork. 🤔

    That's just not on.
    That said, nothing TUI does can surprise us now.
    Have flown with TUI many times and been lucky.
    Only had one nightmare with them.

      Thank you so much for watching and for the sub, means a lot to us. We have had a lot of good experiences with Tui but this was not good and we are now experiencing some issues with them regarding our forthcoming cruise in November which we will highlight in a forthcoming vlog.

    Tui have an odd booking system for seats for sure. We have booked our first cruise (on the Voyager) with them and extra space seats on there 737. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it now. Although haven't had a problem previously when I've booked seats. I'm glad you sorted your issue out though.

Normally fly trouble free with Tui so have a lot of confidence but this was definitely a bit strange and i'm not convinced it was caused by the reason they say it was. Still sorted now and definitely happy we did not end up with the window seat that isn't a window seat! Will look out for that one in the future! 😱

    I’ve read quite a lot about seats being lost after initial booking. Since then I tend to go on to TUI flight extras on a weekly basis to check our seats still exist.

    TUI long haul caribbean cruises, flights in partnership with P&O cruises has hit the headlines lately in a negative light especially so far with gatwick and manchester departures. customers have been switched to another airline called maleth aero, No inflight services, no premium seating, no refunds for those who have paid for premium seats just a £75 onboard spend voucher and planes older than erm old. customers and agents who booked customers not happy. Oh and the cheek when customers cancel and ask for a full refund,, they will have to pay charges. Are you going Nov 23 or Nov 24 ? looking into similar in 24. view a good rant on Cruising with John he is not a happy bunny nooooo

      This sounds really bad, we usually fly from Manchester and i'm not sure i would have been very happy with this situation, especially as i have never heard of that airline. We have always been happy with Tui and have had more good than bad experiences with them. Last year we did have 3hr delay and the problems with these seats does worry me for whats next. Will keep my faith in them though that these are just isolated incidents. We actually go on 26th November. If we are there at same time, say hello if you see us. 🚢🚢🚢🍹🍹🍹🌞🌞🌞😎😎😎

    Row 7 also has no window in premium seats on the Tui 787-9

      Thanks for the info, really disappointed that Tui/Marella don't warn you about these seats when you book with them. Hope this helps people who may book these seats with no idea that they are not getting what they think they are. ☹

      I’ve been caught out by this, I’ve messaged them on X to be told by one person it doesn’t have a window, then after telling them how dissatisfied I was that the system doesn’t advise of this and at the point of booking I could have chose any row and I’ve now paid a lot of money for a row with no window, I received a response to say it did have a window, I then asked if they were sure and that they had checked the correct plane I finally get a response to say they have looked and it does say it’s a window seat but it may not be a full window seat. I’m gutted, this is for our honeymoon. I now say thankfully, however at the time it was stressful, our return seats were not selected although I had selected the same seats for the return at the point of booking, so I very nearly had no premium seats as there was none available, after randomly checking one day I then saw 2 had become available, so selected row 5, so at least for our flight home we will have a one but let’s face it, you want the view for landing in Caribbean not England on a night flight 🙄

    Seat Guru is generally pretty good for warning about this sort of thing

    Hiya, there are two types of Dreamliners; the 787-9 and the 787-8. The -9 has 345 seats and the -8 has 300 seats. It looks like they changed it from a -9 to a -8 hence your seats disappearing.
    This should have been informed to you, however it is very common for the planes to go back to the original configuration type aircraft so that may be the reason why.
    Also, luckily Jamaica is now completely online; so you are not required to fill out a paper C5 form :) (still bring a pen!)
    Hope it all went well at the end and you enjoyed your cruise!

      Thanks for your very detailed and informative comment. We would not have minded the change of aircraft if they had informed us that this was happening and we would need to rebook our seats. I hope this was just unfortunate on our part and not the norm that they don't inform you. Good to hear that Jamaica have now gone online with their forms, we did online for Barbados and it was much easier. Will still make sure i take a pen though, should always be prepared! Holiday was fabulous, we loved our cruise and would recommend Marella to anyone, especially this itineary which went to some amazing countried. Take care and thanks for watching. 🚢🚢🚢🌞🌞🌞🍹🍹🍹😎😎😎

    We have 39 a 39 c at the back are these OK seats plz 😊

      Hi Kevin, if you are on the dreamliner Boeing 787-8 (788) and they are the 2 seats right at the very back we have sat in these seats and loved them. We were worried about possible queue or noise from toilet but these proved to be no problem at all on our flights. Seat Guru also state limited recline but we thought the recline was absolutely fine and no worry about anyone behind you. Only downside and again i don't think its a massive issue is you will be one of last off plane. If you are on the dreamline 787-9 (789) then you should be fine, no seat warnings on seat guru. We would book these seats again without any hesitation. ✈😃

      @@kevinstevenson6272 Your very welcome. We were a little worried but we loved having just 2 of us and not having to disturb anyone when you want to get up. The extra space at side of seat was really useful. I hope you enjoy these seats as much as we did.

      This is bad. I appreciate they have to make changes to their aircraft sometimes but i am annoyed that despite you paying to pre book your seats they don't tell you or reassign you similar seats. We were just lucky we found out by chance before we eventually flew. Hope you sorted yours out, i'm sure it must happen lots. 🤔
