The previous version was almost perfect, just needed accessible pockets for hip armor. Instead they replaced the snap to hold the triangular vent open with a little rubber thingy that you won't be able to use with one gloved hand while you're riding and whose durability looks suspect. And the weird waist snap. Don't fix what isn't broken!

I had the originals for about 10 years. Only gripe I had with them was their short length while on sport bikes. This new pair seems to have taken two steps back with the wonky waist closure and method for thigh vents.
