I think that Greg is like this because he was molded by his environment, let me explain. If the bullying and family problems are true or at least slightly true he might have become this way to adapt to his environment. Like if people bully him he could manipulate them or others into not or reversing the affect or some other thing. My point is that he might just be responding to his environment.
I swear, this uploading schedule is marvelous. After school, Everyday. (So far) I’ve watched every video.

This was the best book and movie in the series... I feel like it was way more interesting when its summer because Kinney had more creative freedom for the story. And 0:57 , they are rich... just look at their house in the movies

Wow this is such a late reply.
Dude... I just realized a few days ago how bad Greg is.
When I was growing up, I didn't really have alot of friends... really any friends, except maybe one, but all we did was just sit and talk about the same 3 video games and having the same 3 conversations over and over.
Anyway, I've read the books since late elementary school, (i'm 19 now.), and I always felt like I was in Greg's same shoes. I always thought Greg was just a normal kid and i never saw anything wrong with anything he did, even the big wheel incident... And what I realized a few days ago, was that I acted exactly like Greg all throughout middle and early high school. I was a major d*ck to everyone, and I think that I took it way too far more than a couple times.
I know these books aren't entirely to blame, neither is Jeff Kenney, and I'm not saying the books are bad, but... they had a hand in my behavior back then.
It's still hard to come to terms with it.... I can't wait to afford therapy so I can destroy my good view on everything else in my early life. Lol.

There's a part in the story, that on a sleepover, Greg and Rowley think a ghost or something is in a room next to them. He says he sleeps near the stairs a little, so when Rowley gets grabbed by whatever's in there, he gets a five second headstart to escape.

When I was grade 8 I always read the diary of a wimpy kid books. In my thing Greg is not a social path as I read every books it states that Greg wants to be in his all to himself life and the reason why is he not cooperating is because everyone thinks he's a inmature person who never likes to grow up and his parents are trying to get him normal but knowing that rowely is always his best friend is that he wants to be friends with everyone even Greg although simply he is a wimp but doesn't come between their friendship and Greg wrote about all things in his life is to show everyone on how they pick on him badly and reading about his life they feel sorry for him (but all the time keeps being a wimp) that's my thing.
