yea i have the same issue, tried changing battery, starter solenoid, air filter. Before it started and I was about to ride out and it died. So I changed everything above and nothing im gonna try and replace the spark plugs. TY for this !
Roll over ball. Check it make sure it is hooked onto the right bracket

Idle should be near by 1500rpm, use the gold screw on the left to adjust it first.

I didn’t hear the fuel pump prime when you turned the key.
It did but I found out the spark plugs were no good even with only 1k miles on them. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
Fuel related, I think.
(Spark seems okay; it starts instantly. You didn’t mention dark smoke, so air
fuel ratio probably okay.
Air supply probably okay too.)
So, I think you’re not getting fuel. I have seen this same symptom on 5hp Briggs rototillers a few times. It was a fuel starvation issue caused by a bad diaphragm in the fuel pump....a $2 part.

maybe you just need to turn your idle screw to increase the idle

Might it have been dealing with your fuel pump? You may need a new one. It sounds like it might not have been enough fuel pressure. Some, but not enough. My opinion.

After you change the spark plugs, it was OK. The idol was fine
