Despite being on these apps for a year and meeting up with a few people, I find it difficult to set myself apart from other guys as witty/humorous with my first few messages, especially if the ladies have nothing much on their bio to pivot from.
I don't wanna give girls the impression that I'm looking for hook-ups, like some public bicycle (ride and bye)
Friends/acquaintances said I'm tall and not bad looking, is genuine, decent background (?) and have a pleasant personality, so most of them assumed that I am the type of guy who wouldn't struggle with getting dates or a girlfriend. But with my experiences online so far, it's the opposite and my self-esteem has taken quite a hit.
Would love to learn from any advices/experiences anyone could share with me, to improve my situation or texting skills :) thanks in advance!
Actually those apps aft the match is a texting warzone, prob try to sustain convos - reveal more details abt yrself or hit on the other person vibes. Eg. He says he likes travelling, dont jus reply with u like travelling also or the covid siann thing cant travel. I would be sharing a snippet of my story and let him continue stuff frm thr. Convos dont hav to be qn form or it’ll sound like an interview. Think of the person as a best fren, u wanna draw closer u need those vibes.
sounding excited on texts is a bonus - it’ll be nice if you’re chatting with someone who’s excited to meet u in real life, before the date try creating the hype and buildup - “looking forward yeahh “ smth along those lines.
I think same for guys and gurls prob u wanna be strategic abt dating and let the other party feel yr strategic plan and whr he or she stands, it is like if they can’t envision a future or see whr its going to lead, its as good as a waste of time and even feelings with the other party. Can indirectly hint or let the other party sense the vibes well.

Eh yo guys, sheann is just a person that knows what she wants. Being a direct person doesn't mean they should like or be comfortable with ppl asking for a physical meet up in their very first message
Nah man. Sorry I disagree. I think it's precisely because she DOESN'T know what she wants, that's why she acts that way. She's just on apps to "test water". The kind that downloads the app because "no harm trying", but don't necessarily want to know anyone. If she knows someone, then ok lo; if don't know anyone, also not interested to try. She needs to take her own advice on knowing what she wants.
Downloading the app isn't going to guarantee a match, think she is more of the kind that won't find the person that she likes on the platform. People who download the app have a purpose and if she finds that guy too straightforward no way she will find a match
