I WILL get you jamming on mandolin...right NOW! All I ask you to do is learn the A major scale, then leave the rest up to me!
Full lesson, tabs and mp3's found here: banjobenclark....
I've learned so much about Mandolin since I found your videos. I use to get so bored with scales and other theory but you managed to make it interesting!
Thank you for teaching mandolin
You're welcome, Patty!
Just picking up the mandolin, can't tell you how insightful the jam in both the A & G have been. I have been keeping anything doing with theory off at arms distance, but these lessons have been a fantastic ice breaker and easy to comprehend. Love this format, makes me want more!
As a long time guitar player just getting serious on the mandolin I have dabbled on for years, these lessons are fantastic. Exactly the right level for me to put it all together.
I remember being taught these same exercises about 40 years ago! Because mandolin tuning is 100% regular, it's really easy to apply the same fingering patterns to other keys, and up and down the fingerboard.
Just did your G scale and A scale, whoa I learned SOOOOOO much! Can't thank you enough 👏👏👏👏👏👏🎵🎶
You're so welcome!
Love these lessons!! We need SO many more of this.
Thanks, Tyler!
Very awesome. Ive been slowly learning some mandolin. My main focus has been the 5 string banjo. But ive been feeling a little lost on the mandolin. So this is total motivation for me to play something different with the mandolin. Thank you for what you do. Also my friend got me a sweet strap from your store. And I must say the extras that were put in my box like a sticker and lollipop made me want to order more things haha. Thanks again.
Thanks for what you do bro
Good lessons
I finally got a Big Mon!
But I bought it from eBay because I couldn’t find a Blonde in stock anywhere else lol
I am loving it though!
Do you have any videos on scale sequencing?
You are to technically for a beginner sir
