Fantastic lesson. I've only played Mandolin six months or so and only played chords of the keys mostly. I was trying to to put together a solo at great effort for a friend who wanted a Mandolin solo on the song " The Long Black Veil' in the key of D. Since I watched this video it came together easy! I have played Guitar for decades so it might have helped some but not a lot I don't think. It was the the arppegio triad showed here in the video that really made it happen for me! Thanks.
