As someone who works in a call center (I've worked with a few different companies in my call center, two of which are tech related and one was dangerously close to this scam, but it wasn't really a scam as we did legitimate work) and every client I've done calls for have had a rule for "customer satisfaction" that dead air (typically in excess of 30 seconds) will be seen as a negative against us and is typically used to make us look poor at our jobs. Trust me- we hate the small talk too, and wish we could *just* help you out- but corporate overlords think constant talking is """engaging the customer""" and increases customer satisfaction. Honestly, after every customer service call you do, fill out the survey- unless the person on the other line was a genuine ass, chances are they were trying to follow the process they were told to do, so if there's a "tell us your opinion" in the survey, let them know that their processes blow because they always suck

A few more fun things you can do to your VM for when they connect, use ReplaceKeys to swap some of the keys (such as c and Enter) - makes typing web addresses tricky. It also makes using the Run box impossible - so they have to navigate to IE etc. Then of course you can write a batch file to run IE (and do some more unhelpful stuff), give it the same icon as IE and put on the desktop. Much fun to be had letting them tie themselves in knots!

Actually it's very easy when you know how. Then when you do, you can initiate a file transfer outside of the remote session, using it as the gateway and injecting it with a rather simple script right into the host station. Though I highly doubt these people knew how to do all that.

I think Google should not promote scammers on the searches related to phone number of anti-virus customer care.

-Create a zombie phone network to call them over and over, 24/7
-have friends record themselves complaining for an hour, play it over the phone calls
-leave it going forever, just let it do its thing
-Tech support guys have to answer the calls, clogs their service, innocent people can't call and get scammed

Please search on Google for "avg customer care number" or "Norton technical support number" etc. All show up scammer numbers on Google search and they have even the logo of company like AVG or Norton next to them.
I think Google should not promote scammers on the searches related to phone number of anti-virus customer care.

Clayton Marionneaux All Data Centers are required to log Output and that means, if they catch the booter hogging bandwith they will shut it down... This also means, any logs and users on there site will also be flagged for federal crimes.

Thanks to you and all the ones who do these videos about computer scammers (and I spend hours enjoying them). I just received such a call and messed with him wasting a good 30 to 40 min. of his time. This is by far not the first time I've been called.
