One thing i found out is that you can kinda influence the crafting. Say you got something like a blue columnus with dumdum 2/3 but you want 4 (and you have dumdum4) , i would replace that with terrifying barrage this way i know i wont roll into that, and if i roll into a good final blessing i just replace the aforementioned terrifying barrage back with dumdum4. Been doing this with psyker staffs and got most of the lvl4 blessings. Idealy you want a weapon with only a few good blessings and a really bad one.
It works if you have kinda unlimited amount of resources and really wanna build a specific item straight up now. I found for myself a lot easier way to build a proper sets of weapons - you regularly check brunt’s requisitioned weapons for top-tier options and then craft them from there. It’s a lot better and faster and optimized way to make different builds for all your characters. But the process and logics of crafting itself described 10/10, true
Even if the shop rerolls every hour, the issue is that they always have trash perks/blessings. Level 2 mostly, VERY rarely 3, and I can't remember last time I saw a 4, if I ever did. So crafting from already upgraded trash (with good base rating tho) is very coinflip, and more than often a waste of plasteel, over a waste of dockets (which would be by buying them from scratch/grey). I value plasteel more than dockets...

You quick play the highest difficulty you can handle all the time and check every inch of maps so you learn resource spots. I found a resource spot the other day ive never seen anyone go to up some stairs and ive played almost 1,000 games.
Get +Dockets on all 3 of your curios and stealth speedrun auric maelstrom in less than 10 minutes bypassing most ambient enemies. You won't get many crafting materials this way, but you can stack dockets real quickly if that's all you want. And speedrunning is fun too

380 is your max roll limit by default. The reason the numbers go past this is to account for weapons being able to gain power by blessings. You can see how much of a benefit you can get from beyond maxed out stats by examining the weapon and hovering over stat breakdown. (knives technically can get up to 6 dodges, if at max mobility then you manage to juice the mobility stat, which for some weapons is actually not possible) Though, for crafting purposes, it’s only confusing.
This video can serve as a pretty good demonstration for why the crafting system sucks. So many resources invested to get a single gun, on a single class, that is sub-optimal but workable.

Are there any known bugs or phantom hit issues with the revolver because i had a couple games with very wierd interactions like hitting a unarmored gunner in the head getting a headshot marker but it didnt die or shooting a unarmored gunner 3 times in the body and it doesnt die.
If the gun has good modifiers I keep it even if the blessings and perks are shit, because mabye fatshark removes the locks in 2025 or something. I do not know how long it will take for them to do that, but hey, I will have good weapons when/if that happens
I've been trying to farm the blessings for the autogun and las guns to use on the decent rolls I already. However this games keeps giving me the same tier 3 perks. Also, does the auric and maelstorm runs give more mats then just quick play damnation runs?
I found most of my blessings rolling greens to blue and many of them came from weapons with terrible base rolls. You really want multiple characters so you can spam contracts. If you really want to save on plasteel just buy green weapons from the shop and upgrade them to blue. It might cost you 7k for a green weapon and less than 200 plasteel to find a tier IV blessing. Better then spamming grey weapons and spending double the plasteel to get it to blue. Thats how I found most of my blessings. It takes forever to gear up multiple characters to the point where you can just play and farm contracts throughout the week but thats what I did.
Just got my first character to 30 so I started looking into the crafting system... oh god it's so bad 😢 Ran out of plasteel in 2 seconds and barely got anything for it.

I've gotten Run N Gun III 6 times in a row trying to roll Voidstrike for Surge and I'm fed up with it. I just took Transfer Peril with Warp Flurry on it. As great as Surge probably is I'm sick of wasting Plasteel then grinding more of it.
Crazy thing about rng is I found surge like november long time ago and i dont even play void strike. We all have blessings were looking for though unless youre lucky and have them all. Im still looking for a handful of blessings but i have most of them by now.

I run transfer peril and warp flurry on voidstrike too but I swap crit or soulblaze related talents for more tankiness. Still keep the blaze on the vent though, just flat out deals more damage than rupture.
@@torm0 nice, Psyker really benefits from more toughness it's wild how different the experience is once toughness is above 100. Transfer Peril is ridiculously strong, it really allows an absurd amount of death ball spam.
I hate that most of the DT community can think of better crafting and upgrading mechanics than the devs 🙁 Why not - destroy 2 yellow tier weapons to incease stats on a 3rd, but a limited ammount of times per weapon upgraded ?
not correct, true weapon stats makes the "[ lowest roll | highest roll ]" next to each stat the range of values you can actually roll (i.e. after the 80% cap), instead of the number that the 80% cap is calculated from (which you can never actually reach and obfuscates the actual range of possible rolls available to you unless you do the math on every single stat)

i suppose the next guide we all could use is how to farm credits and plasteel effectively. lord knows i certainly need every edge i can get.

Best way is to get an organized group, mission times are a lot lower, you don't fail the mission as often, and they might also collect plasteel

You'll want curios with x3 +10% ordo dockets perk

Did you mean roll warp nexus for surge? Voidstrike staff is good with transfer peril.
