I can't even play it. If ever I have to reload it straight up crashes, and will crash on start up. I have to restart the mission and repeat if I die. Steam just said that's not defined as an issue with the product and won't refund. Go figure. So naturally, my hatred for this game is extreme. And it makes me feel quite vindicated for you to be on the same page.

I love using staves as a psycher, my two favorites are the inferno and electrokentic staves. Trying to get better to consistently play above malice difficulty

Late to the show, but even though I don't agree on everything, overall points are very valid but are ignored by the hype crowd. I got this game because of SM1's awesomeness, but this game didn't really improve on anything, despite the much bigger budget. I expected something like Dark Souls 1 -> 3 but got 1 -> 2.

It's funny to me that this game suffers the same problem as OG Doom which is high difficulties are hard because of hitscanners deleting your health.

I honestly like these build videos on the more fun/roleplay builds while still making thrm optimal. I know a lot of people including myself appreciate the most meta builds and the info regarding the choices but there are other weapons worth running that are still pretty viable if you build and play around them. Just gets boring seeing for example dueling sword slapped on everything even if it is just comically broken and ahead of everything else.

What about triple Stamina Curio and sometimes Double? I keep seeing it in a lot of players and I suppose is just people being used to running them or is it build specific ?

now that gunners can strafe, i have had a few times where the gunner starts fire before we have LOS and they pop out of cover with the first shot and just chunk into my health. most of the time i could save it with fast range swap (revolver ADS type), but one time two did it at the same time and I went down in less than three seconds.

Im begging you to make one of these about sniper. I need to know why the actual FUCK they make you SLOW when they hit you. Why? So they can fucking shoot you again for free? Shit game design that needs an explaination.

I've been running a similar build, though I focus more on the melee aspect. I take smite for the Electrical Heavies and Damage buff and end up chunking bars with the sword.

About Kinetic Flayer. If you just look at the numbers without context it seems like it might not be bad. A brain rupture does 1350 damage. Lets say an average run takes 25 minutes. In a theoretical run where you constantly fight specials, elites and monsters, you could in theory proc Kinetic Flayer four times every minute, which add up to 100 ruptures. In practice, you'll never proc it that often of course since there's some downtime even on the hardest difficulties and you need to hit a 10% chance once each cooldown is up. But lets say we cut the theoretical max down to half. That's 50 procs a 1350 damage ie 67,5k extra damage. Not too bad for a single node. Of course, this damage goes down more still, since sometimes kinetic flayer will proc on enemies low on health, and I suspect even a practical proc-rate of 50% might be optimistic.

kinetic flayer should be changed to always proc the first time you hit a target you marked i feel like that would make it actually reliably useful

Also it would be nice if you gave a quick overview about the builds that you are comparing it with, for example when you say like in build psy gunner, most people don't know all the builds, so it would be nice for like 1 or 2 sentences where it explains the main idea of the build so people can get a long.

please can you consider doing an idiots guide to Power DI at some point? with the discontinued support of the scoreboard mods I think more people will be moving over to it eventually and replicating something like the scoreboard in it is a bit confusing. all good if not, just notice you suggested it but the customisation of it makes it seem a bit intimidating
