Some questions for you: 1. Have you tried this without Kinetic Flayer? 2. Are you using Terrifying Barrage? 3. What are the stats on that staff, besides the radius?
No problem. Kinetic flayer only actually is hitting one enemy, so the difference woudn't be that huge, only recently started using it again. Will test again though and get back to ya! No terrifying barrage in any of the videos, I've never found it useful, but would add a little more stun. Another one I can do next time I'm on. This staff was 79% damage, 80% radius, and the dump stats i'll have to check later, but won't affect visually, more experience-(tially?) Mainly getting an idea of the sq ft of the aoe. I would be curious if a low damage number high radius would have any effect on the the aoe clearing vs just how much damage is taken. I'll mess with it! I can probably just do a whole longer trauma vid in the coming days with different blessing and modifier combos. (i have a stupid amount of of inventory at this point, with pretty much any combo so happy to show anything needed before wasting your rolls XD )
@@skudie I know KF hits one enemy, I was just wondering about suppression. I am also not asking about terrifying barrage for its usefulness, I was trying to understand why so many fell over outside of the radius. I'll run some tests :)
@@Xariann Ah thats the regular suppression from trauma - that suppressive area around the rim, is also the enemies that would be effected by Blazing Spirit Trauma, if you've messed with that mix, it may give a good in game idea of what's getting banged, and whats getting blazed/staggered AtlasUndead on the Darktide discord did a really good aerial test of the blazing spirit if you're in there!
@@skudie Yep, I know about the suppression, etc., but thanks for confirming. So one thing I noticed when using Purgatus was that if you got a KF early, the horde would suppress early and wouldn't move. I made that experiment a while ago when I was trying to figure out how much difference Terrifying Barrage made (the answer was not much). And it looked like KF had a stronger suppression effect just because it guaranteed a kill early. This is in the Psykanium, with invisibility off. Of course this depends on the type of horde because some mobs are immune to suppression. This is why I was wondering about KF in this experiment. But if the horde is not moving towards you, it's going to be less noticeable.
this is with a radius of 80. Possibly in the future, but its really hard to say what a good low modifier would be, and also get the roll for like a 0 or 1%
The best weapon for downing hordes of crushers
Questionable?
@@skudie I meant for knocking down hordes of them
Combine it with a bubble and nothing can touch anyone inside; its one of my favorite combos for psyker lol
Guess I need to try it again, I feel like I was getting slammed even with that combo at my feet.
Satisfying

I want to test OUT*what kind of stagger KF causes. I did a BB and was suprised by how little it did to it's surrounding enemies (if anything)

You are surrounded by crushers... Make a video of trauma staff usage.....
As in, spawn a ton of crushers around me then slam em?
@@skudie yes. Just wonder about the difference.
@@LYS_902 will get on this tonight
Just added the vid, only knocks down whatever the circle is touching!
What is the radius stat? Are you going to do one with max and min to show the difference?

and?
