One time I forgot my CAC in the platoon office for 24 hours, and my Nco found it. The next day he told me I had to write a 24 page essay, or recite my DoD number from memory. The look on all the Ncos faces when I recited it with question.😂

Hey narrator and Ortiz I’m 3 weeks from graduating basic training at fort Jackson and I just wanna say that you guys are mainly the ones who motivated me to join the army cause the journeys you both took and the stories you told on your podcasts.

I was late on family day (day before graduation day) cuz I had to take 1 last PT test, it was my last chance to pass (I did).

As a HOI4 Veteran (Completely Joking here BTW) I give you guys, and all Military Veterans, Combat or NOT. All my Respect. everytime I encounter a veteran, i thank them for their service. I'd personally love to serve the country, but i am far too weak mentally and physically to even do it. I'd wash out, and I'd not want to be the failure. Yet, i know I'd be the biggest failure in the Military.

I remember I got strep throat when I was at Benning in 2006 and they told me I can just redo OSUT but I said HELL NO and completed the 30 mile ruck march to Honor Hill with a fever and strep throat... It was the most Hoo-ah thing I ever did in my 7 years in the Army lmao

I used to work with the NMCI IT desk and had some lady get her CAC stuck inside the laptop casing, she had to wait for the local base ops people to come out and open the case to get it. Poor girl was practically in tears she was so scared.

As a former USMC 0351 and now cyber in the air guard, I laughed as soon as you said CAC card. It's just CAC (Common Access Card). So all you really said was that translated in my head "Common access card card"
Love the video! Clarification on the CIWS (onboard ships) CRAM (the land based counterpart) That CIWS was doing a cutout zone calibration. it was measuring its cut outs to avoid shooting antennas on the ship or the railing etc. The airplane flying over is just a coincidence.
