For this recipe, I have used a fan-forced setting, but I also bake it with static function (cause the fan-forced started to cause some problem with my oven), but I increase with 10 degrees.
@@CasualCookery thanks so much for the reply!! do you notice any difference in texture when you use fan-forced vs static? can't wait to try making this (:
@@triciagoh2671 I have used dry active yeast, but there's no such difference between those two types. The DAY needs to dissolve in the lukewarm water, while the instant one can be mixed directly with the dry ingredients. To be honest, I dissolve in lukewarm water both of them. Same perfect results!
Hi, Sure you can use instant yeast (keep in mind: 26 grams of fresh yeast = 7 grams of active/dry yeast). Normally, instant yeast just needs to be mixed with the flour.
My partner and I tried making these for the first time and they turned out so tasty! Thank you 😇
Oh, I'm so glad you've tried them and liked them! Thank you for that!
Brilliant!

Hello! These look really good ☺️ Could I check if you used the fan-forced/convection oven setting, or conventional? Thank you!

@@triciagoh2671 No, I haven't noticed any. Just keep an eye on them and take them out when they start to become golden-brown.
@@CasualCookery also, did you use dry active yeast, or instant yeast? so sorry for the many questions!

Are you using active dry yeast?
You can use fresh yeast, active dry yeast or instant yeast. I always choose to dissolve any type of yeast into warm milk or water.
