You are so right with what you said in the first minute of this video and that is why I only trust you and Gluck when Im looking to buy new equipment. I do look at other video about the item Im looking to buy but I don't even come close to believing anything they say. I just wstch their video to see the specs and details of the item. I watch you and Gluck for yalls advice and recommendations.

Great video. I was wondering what you think about the Hydrow Core option where no monthly subscription is required and it comes with 30 self-guided rows. Is it still worth it to buy a Hydrow without the monthly subscription or are there other rowers that would be a better deal? I will be mainly using a rower for fitness and don't think that a $44/month subscription would be justified for me. Thanks...AL

That depends on a couple of things. ARe you the type of person who can self motivate? Are you okay with just the basic stats and that's it? If you think you'll need instructor led sessions or gamification to stay consistent, you're gonna end up getting the subscription and this is a good rower for that. If not, then you don't need this kind of rower. Go with a Concept 2. It's one of the most highly regarded rowers around and no sub. Just a basic digital display. You can also add what's called an Ergatta upgrade if you want to add programming down the road. Hope that helps!

@@GymCrafter Thanks for the response. I was thinking the same thing about the value of the Hydrow w/o the programming feature. Although the Hydrow has great ergonomics, build quality, quiet operation and rowing action simulation. It's a matter of whether it's worth $2K w/o the prgramming options.

That is a deep detailed way to do cardio. My question is what does the subscription cost to have access to everything you went over???
I'm an old school plates clanking type of guy and paying a subscription is not something that would attract me but I am curious of the cost of having one of these rowers in my gym.
You never know I might decide to get one for the guys who lift with me. Thnkx for your help

It's $44 a month, so kinda pricey unless you really like rowing.

Oh Gracious, that is another bill nobody needs unless you are an influencer
I'm out, Good Gracious again over $500 year only rich people would do that to say they are a member, I know a lot of rich people
Without the subscription it's just a rower with no monitor
Never knew rowing could be so expensive

That's cardio and way too fancy and high tech for my liking LOL. Good review but I'll stick with my barbell and plates Tim.

I hated cardio until I tried a rower a year ago. Absolutely love it now, but if you'd told me that more than a year ago I would have laughed at you!

Ask your doctor if that’s something he agrees with. We don’t need any more research on the topic, cardio is important

@@CraigularjJoeWoodworks Agreed. It's crazy how much effort people will go to to justify not doing things that are good for them (and that, regardless of what they say, they know are good for them!)
