So, this didn’t help me in waiting but it DID help in other areas. I prayed for a while for a godly husband. I’m almost at our 3rd year anniversary. I prayed for a baby. I have a 10 months old now. It’s been a difficult week. He’s teething and I’m finding every reason to complain. You reminded me that this is what I prayed for. I’m living in an answered prayer. Thanks. This is exactly what I needed to hear today.

Remember folks , before God blesses us , he prepares us for it ! Spritually and physically ! Our blessing is in Beta ! The wait is a test . The test is to like create space in your life or the making of the room to recieve . When that blessing comes , it's going to be sooo much bigger than we thought..it's going to be boat sinking blessings as mentioned in Luke 5 .

I’d never heard of the song “Wait on You” before, but right after I watched this video (I watched it 3x actually!) my friend randomly sent me that song. I was like “Yes God! I hear you!”
God is really working his magic having you guys upload this today. I went through a weird breakup back in January after we had been together for a little over a year. Of course it was hard at first but I was really able to find God during that time and became the happiest I've been in a while. Now the last week or so my head has been really idolizing being in a relationship and it's hard not knowing when God will send that perfect guy my way. I teared up when Tori was talking about not lowering your worth and standards to compromise for something you want now, rather than waiting for God's timing and knowing what your worth is. I've really realized this week how my ex loved me, but he didn't love me in the way or to the extent that I loved him, and I also got teary when Chad was talking about not lowering your standards for something or someone you don't deserve. It still feels a bit strange months later not having a best friend and someone to love all in one, but I need to realize that God's doing this for a reason and I need it. Thank you for reminding me to trust in him that he will work everything out in the timing that he intends.

I had to think about this, a friend of a friend was trying for a few years and she was in the middle of building a house, and she was so down because she didn’t have a baby (she’s not a Christian) and we were praying for her, and God gave her the perfect timing and the house is just finished and she became pregnant! I believe God will give y’all the perfect timing! Your babies are gonna have such a lovely house + so much love around them! Thanks for the encouraging video. I read this quote the other day in a YouVersion devotional: Good things require intense preparation, for it is during the preparation period that you will know if what you’re preparing for is truly worth it. The waiting period can seem like an intense or super long period of time. Make sure you use this waiting time to prepare for the great things God has in store for you!
I needed this! Thank you! Waiting can be so hard but the reminder to “Tend to your OWN flock” was much needed. God knows what he is doing. The promises that hasn’t come yet is God’s business. I need to mind my own business and be grateful for the promises he has already brought to fruition. 🙏🏾

Wow this is good! “Trust that He won’t let you down.” 🤍 I was gently convicted yesterday about my view of God’s promises. I personally think veggie burgers would taste a whole lot better if they didn’t have the word “burger” in the name, because burger leaves me expecting a big, juicy meat patty, and that is definitely not what veggie burgers are. It’s the same way with the promises of God. God’s promises are big and juicy, and everything I need. But when I attach qualifiers and expectations to what I want them to look like, they become a whole lot more like veggie promises, and they don’t taste nearly as good. But when we take one little bite of who God actually is, we taste and see that the Lord is good, and the aftertaste of the real promises is full of hope. Sorry for this being so lengthy guys! Everything you both said in this video was so impactful to me in my waiting for my person. I’ve been divorced for over 15 years, raised my two daughters and I want to share my life with someone. I feel like my life is passing me by. I make sure I don’t sit idle at home but I’m tired of doing things by myself. I ended a 4 year friendship with a man that was mainly lust of the flesh. The temptation is always on my mind because I just need to feel close to someone and feel like a desirable woman. I grew up Catholic but only accepted Christ a few years ago. I think everyone is waiting on something. Hope deferred makes the heart sick and I have really felt the weight of the wait recently. I have been to a very dark place but I thank God that the cloud is lifting. I was reading earlier today and this sentence stuck out for me "God cares." When nothing seems to make sense, He still cares; when we are tempted to give up on Him, He cares; when we are hard pressed on every side or even pressed down, He still cares seeing that we are not destroyed. His comfort begins with His identity yáll; He is faithful as a son in God's kingdom and He will be faithful to carry us through our seasons of waiting. I pray that we all would find joy in our season of waiting.

This came at perfect time. I had posted on a status that I do not feel like praying or reading the bible and this video just showed me that the reason why I feel discouraged to pray is that I have been waiting on God for different things from God and it seems He is slacking, because of that internally I am worried(anxious) and a little depressed not even aware why I feel in this way. I think of the Laura Story song Blessings. It's so true that some of lifes hardest struggles end up being our biggest blessings. My mom was evicted from her assisted living facility during covid for opening her window a couple of inches to say hello to the grandkids. I was devastated, and angry at God because I had no idea what we were going to do. Due to extenuating circumstances she could not live with us. God placed her in an apartment less than a mile from our house. We saw her everyday because I did all of her shopping, meds, cleaning, showers e.t.c. This was September 202, and she passed away unexpectedly in March 2021. If she was not evicted from that assisted living we would not have been able to spend all this time with her before she died. I cry with joy when I think about how Christ orchestrated this event. What the world meant for harm Christ meant it for good. My mom loved and trusted Jesus, and I will see her again one day. Now her home is in Heaven. #allglorytoGod

I feel like ever since I finished highschool I've been in a season of waiting. First for a job, then going to bible school. Started dating my bf (yay!) but now I'm in a season of waiting for engagement and marriage. Instead of just lying around being lazy, I'm turning into intentional preparation time! God's brought me so much joy and excitement in this season of waiting!

I just had to tell someone yesterday, "the devil is a big, fat, greasy, ugly liar" because the thoughts that fill your mind in the season of waiting are CRAZY. I rebuke those thoughts with TRUTH of who God says I am. If I go through life asking "God where is that new job you promised, that new house, that person, where where where, gimme gimme gimme" I will never have true peace and joy because I'm always looking for the next thing God can give me. I forget where I heard this, but it was something like "focusing on the past brings depression and focusing on the future causes anxiety" Practical reminders for me are, His timing is PERFECT, the wait is where you're strengthened, you are in the BEST hands there are (forget what All State says), talk to the Father (He loves to hear from you) and keep a journal! When I was just waiting to hear about nursing school, I got to a point where I was doubting what God had told me and I went back and read my past journal entries of His promises to me and how He's come through for me in the past! Great is Your faithfulness! If God gave you a word, write it down, because it's easy to forget it in the craziness of life, but He speaks. Fantastic video! Love y'all so much!

yes!! trusting the process is so difficult sometimes but something that i always say is “this is happening for a reason” if you loose your keys, maybe God is keeping you from getting in an accident, etc. Gods will be done and not mine!

WOW. So many parts of this video I NEEDED to hear and just jumped out at me. I had to watch it three times and will still probably come back to it again. God has really used this to speak to me and confirm some doubts I had and clear up some misconceptions. Especially the part near the end that Chad said about how he didn't do anything because he didn't want to choose wrong but then when he decided to move God opened the door that was meant to be opened!!! This came at perfect time. I had posted on a status that I do not feel like praying or reading the bible and this video just showed me that the reason why I feel discouraged to pray is that I have been waiting on God for different things from God and it seems He is slacking, because of that internally I am worried(anxious) and a little depressed not even aware why I feel in this way. I will wait on God and continue to seek on Him diligently 😍😍🙌🏽🙌🏽may God bless you so much

My mom was evicted from her assisted living facility during covid for opening her window a couple of inches to say hello to the grandkids.
I was devastated, and angry at God because I had no idea what we were going to do. Due to extenuating circumstances she could not live with us. God placed her in an apartment less than a mile from our house. We saw her everyday because I did all of her shopping, meds, cleaning, showers e.t.c. This was September 202, and she passed away unexpectedly in March 2021. If she was not evicted from that assisted living we would not have been able to spend all this time with her before she died. I cry with joy when I think about how Christ orchestrated this event. What the world meant for harm Christ meant it for good. My mom loved and trusted Jesus, and I will see her again one day. Now her home is in Heaven.

I love how Chad mentioned about living in the present too. I learned recently that if we spend too much time in the past or the future (in an unhealthy way) then the enemy can also win in that way. When we LIVE in the present we find so much joy in the little things!! So good y’all!!

I feel like ever since I finished highschool I've been in a season of waiting. First for a job, then going to bible school. Started dating my bf (yay!) but now I'm in a season of waiting for engagement and marriage. Instead of just lying around being lazy, I'm turning into intentional preparation time! God's brought me so much joy and excitement in this season of waiting!

I cannot tell you how timely this video and upload time was for me. (Proof that the Lord’s timing is perfect and He sees me in this struggle and waiting.) I’m currently in the waiting for the same thing you guys are waiting on and discovered this morning that this is yet again, not our month. I was beginning to allow the enemy to reign in my thoughts and even accepting this feeling of depression over me but this video encouraged me so much with so many things other than just this current waiting season. Ive been feeling so drained and complacent with work and boy did I get convicted about that. Thank you Lord for your provision there. 🙌🏼🙏🏼 You guys are so amazing! Thank you for your Godly influence! Thank you God for this job that you promised me. I have also been praying for a husband for a long time. I will let God bring my husband to me. I will be active as God prepares me to be the wife of my loving husband. I know God will bless you both with beautiful children too. Love you both.
I just had to tell someone yesterday, "the devil is a big, fat, greasy, ugly liar" because the thoughts that fill your mind in the season of waiting are CRAZY. I rebuke those thoughts with TRUTH of who God says I am. If I go through life asking "God where is that new job you promised, that new house, that person, where where where, gimme gimme gimme" I will never have true peace and joy because I'm always looking for the next thing God can give me. I forget where I heard this, but it was something like "focusing on the past brings depression and focusing on the future causes anxiety" Practical reminders for me are, His timing is PERFECT, the wait is where you're strengthened, you are in the BEST hands there are (forget what All State says), talk to the Father (He loves to hear from you) and keep a journal! When I was just waiting to hear about nursing school, I got to a point where I was doubting what God had told me and I went back and read my past journal entries of His promises to me and how He's come through for me in the past! Great is Your faithfulness! If God gave you a word, write it down, because it's easy to forget it in the craziness of life, but He speaks. Fantastic video! Love y'all so much!

I wanted to share a book that was super beneficial to me and several of my friends. It is called God has a Waiting Room by Kim Haney. Anything by this author is awesome as well. But it teaches what to do while we are waiting for Gods timing.

WOW. So many parts of this video I NEEDED to hear and just jumped out at me. I had to watch it three times and will still probably come back to it again. God has really used this to speak to me and confirm some doubts I had and clear up some misconceptions. Especially the part near the end that Chad said about how he didn't do anything because he didn't want to choose wrong but then when he decided to move God opened the door that was meant to be opened!!!
