Save it for when the time is right. God has a plan for you. Real love does not force sin into your life. You are beautiful. Your covenant with God is the absolute most important thing in your life right now sweetheart. You will stumble. But we are not of the world. Everyone born in Christ is born a new creation. I don't care what the world is doing. Because I follow God God tells me his love endures. God tells me I am wonderfully made. God tells me to lift my worries to him and that he is joyful in taking on my problems. You don't need a boyfriend you are waiting for your husband. God made us from mans rib to be partners. The "Waiting Period" is the place of self-examination, of looking g inward and asking God what you can do better. It's not comparing ourselves to others and think we are getting shafted. ..each person has a responsibility to work out their own salvation with fear, reverent adoration of the One who paid it all (you have paid nothing! ), and trembling, humbly asking God to remove all your shortcomings (first admitting you have them, then confessing and again asking God for His loving-kindness and forgiveness) Amen and Amen.

The guy in the story that was angry at God because his siblings got what they wanted even though they didn't deserve it, and he didn't get what he wanted even though he "deserved" it sounds a lot like the brother in the prodigal son story. When we base God's blessings on what we deserve we won't get the grace that is undeserved. This attitude that we have somehow earned God's favor and grace is false. If it is by works it is no longer by grace (Romans 11:6). This feeling of entitlement for what we have earned, will block the flow of grace every time. To walk in the Spirit is to rest in this continual flow of grace and offer it to those around us. It can be a fine line between grace and works, so we must be vigilant in examining ourselves to make sure that we are in the faith!
Grace Becomesher - Grace, I also believe that it’s possible God has a bigger plan for this young man. Therefore he’s making him wait. Patience is a major part of God being able to use you. I agree that so many people think they are entitled and it’s not true. But I also thought no he should be excited because only Christians seem to have these waiting problems ( if that’s what a person calls them ) it’s a learning lesson to grow. 💕

Oh wow. This is my life right now. I been crying & mourning every day, my anxieties and depression try to plague me, but I take a time in my day for praying & pleading & communing with God. When I do this I feel the Spirit of God wash over me and I want to cry out for joy. I cry tears of sorrow, but I know that God is so good and He is fighting for me. For ME! When everyone leaves me in life, He still fights for me. My boyfriend left me in a horribly selfish way. He didn't stick around and decide to fight for me, but God does. Every day He says I'm ok when people tell me I'm mental, I'm broken. When pain and lies try hurting me over & over again, He's still there, holding me. He tells me I am well mentally. He tells me I am strong, spiritually. He tells me that no one can hurt me without Him seeing. And He tells me someone will love me and decide to stay. I don't feel like I'm waiting on God, because I know He's already fought my battles. I love Him. It's the most beautiful thing to feel him in my brokenness. He's healing me a little bit every day. I praise him for that.

From 17 years to age until the age of 22 is my timeline of waiting. In a couple of weeks I'll be turning 26, and as I look back as a younger individual, I can say that those were some hard years. Sure, there were easier times than others. Certainly, if it hadn't been for the Lord, I would have made a mess of those years. But by the grace of God, I stand as a weak man that has been upheld by the gracious hand of my Lord, and because of him I have been faithfully married for almost four years.

I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. I wasn’t raised around role models in the church, my grandma might of had me say the Lord’s prayer once before bed, but nothing much after that. I found the Lord at age 24, and I’m 31 now. My walk with the Lord revealed to me that the moment I chose to never speak of, could very well be responsible for the mentality I developed towards sex, women, perversion, and sexual immoral endeavors, like Pornography. I was always worried what it could mean to my family..he was my Grandmother’s husband, my uncles father, and my mom loved him so much, unconditional love, always so grateful when he offered to help us in any way. I was afraid of speaking the truth, but no more. I told my family of this atrocity that had fallen upon me at such a young age. Although it only happened ONCE, the image remained. I wish I could have heard this message in my 20's. I always wanted to be in a relationship but wanted to take the first step and go after a girl who I was interested in. Sadly it wasn't in God's plan and I am 36 years old now. I thank God I didn't get married in my 20's as I wasn't ready both as a Christian spiritually and mentally as a person. I spent my 20's basically in loneliness, fear, anxiety and anger that I couldn't love myself as a person both on the inside and outside and felt depressed. I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD. Be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD! Psalms 27:13-14 This has been my go to verse for the last 6 months. My wife of 10 years filed for divorce months ago. We have 3 children ages 7, 6, and 3. It has been extremely difficult, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and about every other possible way. I know God is good. He is faithful, He is always there for me. I’ve been holding onto Him for dear life. Through this time, I’ve gotten closer to God than I’ve ever been. Through this waiting time (I don’t know when it will end and I don’t know what is to come after) I’ve had to learn to celebrate like Paul! I’ve had to learn to truly seek God and His ways. Talk about eye opening! I’ve been hoping that she will want to stay, or even holding onto after this divorce is finalized next month that God can start something new within us. I don’t know His ultimate plan, but all I can do is trust Him! I know what He has called me to do, and I’m in waiting to see it come to fruition. I’ve learned to not waste the waiting time! Use every opportunity to seek Him in ways I’ve never done before! Regardless of how my situation (or anyone else’s) turns out, I know God is good! And He is the ultimate redeemer!!

This preaching reminds me so much of a song called “Praise Before My Breakthrough” by Bryan and Katie Torwalt and it’s so good. It’s important as a Christian to have faith even when God’s promises for me are not in motion yet. It’s important for me as a Christian to follow Christ simply because he is good and not because he’s not giving me what I want. God is not a genie, He is my Father who I adore and love. Thank you for sharing this. It’s hard to speak with people about this subject when they don’t know God. They have nothing to put their faith in so they speak negatively about their life and it saddens me so much but I also need to remember the power of prayer. Every time I hear about this subject, I also think about my name means. Technically my name is Isabella but I typically go by Bella. And I think about how “Bella Perez” means beautiful breakthrough and I love that because I now that as a disciple of Christ, I’m called to bring breakthrough in people’s lives with the peaceful personality God has blessed me with. Very eye opening. I often find myself begging for my feelings of confusion and abandonment to leave me while I spend all this time waiting for happiness and peace of mind. If I chose to celebrate the waiting and what I already KNOW to be true I think I would've already found these things. The guy in the story that was angry at God because his siblings got what they wanted even though they didn't deserve it, and he didn't get what he wanted even though he "deserved" it sounds a lot like the brother in the prodigal son story. When we base God's blessings on what we deserve we won't get the grace that is undeserved. This attitude that we have somehow earned God's favor and grace is false. If it is by works it is no longer by grace (Romans 11:6). This feeling of entitlement for what we have earned, will block the flow of grace every time. To walk in the Spirit is to rest in this continual flow of grace and offer it to those around us. It can be a fine line between grace and works, so we must be vigilant in examining ourselves to make sure that we are in the faith!
Grace Becomesher - Grace, I also believe that it’s possible God has a bigger plan for this young man. Therefore he’s making him wait. Patience is a major part of God being able to use you. I agree that so many people think they are entitled and it’s not true. But I also thought no he should be excited because only Christians seem to have these waiting problems ( if that’s what a person calls them ) it’s a learning lesson to grow. 💕

Oh wow. This is my life right now. I been crying & mourning every day, my anxieties and depression try to plague me, but I take a time in my day for praying & pleading & communing with God. When I do this I feel the Spirit of God wash over me and I want to cry out for joy. I cry tears of sorrow, but I know that God is so good and He is fighting for me. For ME! When everyone leaves me in life, He still fights for me. My boyfriend left me in a horribly selfish way. He didn't stick around and decide to fight for me, but God does. Every day He says I'm ok when people tell me I'm mental, I'm broken. When pain and lies try hurting me over & over again, He's still there, holding me. He tells me I am well mentally. He tells me I am strong, spiritually. He tells me that no one can hurt me without Him seeing. And He tells me someone will love me and decide to stay. I don't feel like I'm waiting on God, because I know He's already fought my battles. I love Him. It's the most beautiful thing to feel him in my brokenness. He's healing me a little bit every day. I praise him for that.

From 17 years to age until the age of 22 is my timeline of waiting. In a couple of weeks I'll be turning 26, and as I look back as a younger individual, I can say that those were some hard years. Sure, there were easier times than others. Certainly, if it hadn't been for the Lord, I would have made a mess of those years. But by the grace of God, I stand as a weak man that has been upheld by the gracious hand of my Lord, and because of him I have been faithfully married for almost four years.

I wasn’t raised around role models in the church, my grandma might of had me say the Lord’s prayer once before bed, but nothing much after that. I found the Lord at age 24, and I’m 31 now. My walk with the Lord revealed to me that the moment I chose to never speak of, could very well be responsible for the mentality I developed towards sex, women, perversion, and sexual immoral endeavors, like Pornography. I was always worried what it could mean to my family..he was my Grandmother’s husband, my uncles father, and my mom loved him so much, unconditional love, always so grateful when he offered to help us in any way. I was afraid of speaking the truth, but no more. I told my family of this atrocity that had fallen upon me at such a young age. Although it only happened ONCE, the image remained. But there is no pity necessary here today, yesterday, or tomorrow, for I stand here today Redeemed in Christ Jesus, I stand firm in his Glory, I stand tall in the redemption of my past transgressions. The Lord pulled me away from the worst things about myself, and the more I dove into Christ, the more those things began to fall away, by the sanctity of my Salvation.

I wish I could have heard this message in my 20's. I always wanted to be in a relationship but wanted to take the first step and go after a girl who I was interested in. Sadly it wasn't in God's plan and I am 36 years old now. I thank God I didn't get married in my 20's as I wasn't ready both as a Christian spiritually and mentally as a person. It's December 2019 and I came across this message. I don't believe in coincidence, I believe in Divine appointments. A few months ago when I felt my life was falling apart, I prayed to the Lord and began to remind Him of His word and promises to me. He spoke only one word to me, "Wait." This has been my go to verse for the last 6 months. My wife of 10 years filed for divorce months ago. We have 3 children ages 7, 6, and 3. It has been extremely difficult, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and about every other possible way.
I know God is good. He is faithful, He is always there for me.
I’ve been holding onto Him for dear life. Through this time, I’ve gotten closer to God than I’ve ever been. Through this waiting time (I don’t know when it will end and I don’t know what is to come after) I’ve had to learn to celebrate like Paul! I’ve had to learn to truly seek God and His ways. Talk about eye opening! I’ve been hoping that she will want to stay, or even holding onto after this divorce is finalized next month that God can start something new within us.
I don’t know His ultimate plan, but all I can do is trust Him!
I know what He has called me to do, and I’m in waiting to see it come to fruition. I’ve learned to not waste the waiting time! Use every opportunity to seek Him in ways I’ve never done before!
Regardless of how my situation (or anyone else’s) turns out, I know God is good! And He is the ultimate redeemer!!

This preaching reminds me so much of a song called “Praise Before My Breakthrough” by Bryan and Katie Torwalt and it’s so good. It’s important as a Christian to have faith even when God’s promises for me are not in motion yet. It’s important for me as a Christian to follow Christ simply because he is good and not because he’s not giving me what I want. God is not a genie, He is my Father who I adore and love. Thank you for sharing this. It’s hard to speak with people about this subject when they don’t know God. They have nothing to put their faith in so they speak negatively about their life and it saddens me so much but I also need to remember the power of prayer. Every time I hear about this subject, I also think about my name means. Technically my name is Isabella but I typically go by Bella. And I think about how “Bella Perez” means beautiful breakthrough and I love that because I now that as a disciple of Christ, I’m called to bring breakthrough in people’s lives with the peaceful personality God has blessed me with. This message was incredible. Thank you again for sharing!
Very eye opening. I often find myself begging for my feelings of confusion and abandonment to leave me while I spend all this time waiting for happiness and peace of mind. If I chose to celebrate the waiting and what I already KNOW to be true I think I would've already found these things. Along with the joy of confidence and faith and assurance in what will be with me forever. The Lords unending love and presence.

The Bible says confess one to another, sometimes our healing is not in prayers but in sharing with the body of Christ, you wouldn't believe God took someone through the very thing you are struggling with, and their testimony is your healing, so feel free to share with someone or even here.
