Broken Leaf spring on my tow vehicle! - Man it's always something!

just found out i have a broken leaf spring on my 2004 Ford F150 tow vehicle
heard something rattling around in the rear of the truck, i thought it was a floor jack I keep in the back but turns out a broken spring, so I got a set ordered and are supposed to arrive Wednesday but doubt I will have time to replace them before I have to head to the track Saturday morning!
It's always something!

for sure, I haul my boat with this truck too but only go about 10 miles to Folsom Lake.

Just changed the leaf springs on my Jeep, be thankful you don't live in the rust belt.

True! Got the truck used, didn't pay much for it and it is 20 years old, looking around on forums and such they say a broken leaf spring is fairly common on these F150 at this age.

Everything's, supposed to be changed in pairs. Replace, the broken spring. Make the trip. Replace, the other spring, a.s.a.p.
