- got the offset dowell pins in and got the bellhousing indexed in to within .002 had to also order longer pushrods since I switched to solid rollers which are shorter than the hydraulic lifters, ended up at 7.3" pushrod lenght and got those on order, 349 rebuild is moving along!
Those dowel pins really came in handy! With all the adjustments and new parts you're going to have better times at the track!
Man I hope so! Thanks for checking out my video OG!
@@vrm86gt Your content is awesome Bro! 👊🏾
Nice 👍🏁
@@gearbanger57 thanks!
Is this your first time running a solid roller in that motor? What cam are you running
@@79beans347 Yes, first time running solids, cam is a TFS 4 /242-246 @.050 /.595 lift 110 lsa
@@vrm86gt that's basically the same cam I'm running but hydraulic, did you just change the lifters and keep the same cam for your solid setup, I know that you can do that and it works really good
@@79beans347 I was thinking about doing that on my setup after seeing that Engine Masters episode. I'm cheap though so IDK if I can pay for good lifters lol
@@retorq what style lifters are you running now? Are they factory style or link bar
