You better have a bucket loads of monies... the gas prices and food are deathly expensive. Don't forget a good pair of running shoes. There is a lot of Muggin n Thuggin there also. Good Luck, you'll need it.

I am glad you like the video and yes I often get asked about the gang activity, but that is a very small section of South LA very far from Beverly Hills & the Westside. For sure Beverly Hills is one of the safest cities in America.
Law enforcement is on you real quick. Computer checking that car license plate once you get anywhere near UCLA, Beverly, bel air. So yes, it is very safe!
Christophe, gives excellent in home tours! I've driven these narrow roads! You have to drive carefully and look in front of you and not to the right! 😉 Very private and a beautiful place to live!

LOL Remember that all these houses needs support staff, butlers, major duomo's full time gardeners, personal assistants etc.. If a house has a family of 4 they may have 4-9 staff members that work on the property and they can't all drive luxury cars.
We had close friends during my childhood that lived on Chalon Road. I believe you go left off Bellagio and go steeply up. Wonderful city view. They remembered the fire in 1960-ish very well and barely escaped their house burning. It always was a treat to visit them, go for a swim, and admire the views.
Reminds me of the road trip I took out to California.
I drove an old rusty jeep that had a spare tire bungee'd to the roof and salt-crusted Minnesota license plates that got me pulled over and searched several times by cops.
I ascended a few curves of the road in Bel Aire hoping to finally get an ocean view, but had to quickly slam it into neutral, do a hair-raising u-turn, and coast back down to a gas station at the base of the hill when it started billlowing out white smoke and steam.
For better or worse, that was probably the pinnacle of my vacation.
But at least I can say I caught a glimpse, however fleeting and foggy, of how the other half lives.

visit my canel, many exotic activities from the Kalimantan Dayak tribe that you have never seen,

Why do the rich buy and sell their homes so often? These are beautiful homes and it always blows my mind how little time they spend in them.
Everyone has different taste, but the areas that have those amenities are Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills & the Sunset Strip.

Most of the communities in the Westside are not gated and although there is some gang activity way in South LA, these areas are extremely safe and we do not have gang issues here. LA is a great place to live.
How about North and East LA?

I used to live @ 10576 Rocca Way!!! We were just down the street from the hotel and God did we love it. We sold the house in the late nineties and my parents got a place in Malibu. I really wish they would've kept it!

Hey Christophe! I always love your videos. Thanks for sharing! I worked with Paul and Jan Crouch for 15 years. Both had mentioned to me that I would love their homes. LOL Unfortunately, I never actually had the chance to see either IN person. But I always adored Jan’s house especially. I love the layout and design, and can only imagine how beautiful the inside must have been! I know that Paul’s was smaller, but might have been fancier? Please keep up the great videos. I used to have a bit of work in LA. The views and vistas were fabulous, but I very much felt.like a visitor.Unless I was singing in the hotel lobby where I stayed. It was nice and breezy whenever I flew in. If you have enough money, I imagine it's a great place to live. Not as cold and clammy as San Francisco but I do love the quirky folk up North.

What about the beach houses on palisades drive? Like the actress Norma Shearer? Debbie Reynolds house and Carrie Fishers?

Bel Air properties are more seclusive than the surrounding areas of Brentwood, Beverly Hills.

Before he did that u turn Chalon & bellagio merge into one, they named it Chalon. So yes he was traveling on Chalon.

Christophe I’ve seen many tours with trash bins out... do you typically tour on trash day or do those people find it acceptable to leave their trash receptacles out 7 days a week?
Seems like I do them on trash days. We are required to take them back inside once they have been emptied.
The camera work up the windy road is making us nauseous.

I believe yes. Beverly is alot of 1 to 10 million. Bel air more custom mansions with larger lots, 3 to 80 million. Although spelling and playboy Mansion are on Beverly golf course

The garbage cans are everywhere. Very unsightly and detracts from the property. Surprising that personal refuse waste management service “houseside” is not available in these neighborhoods. Detracts greatly.
This happened to be trash day otherwise they are not on the street.
Good grief, I'd never want to try to find my way home on those roads late at night. Of course, if I could afford to live there, I'd have someone to drive me around!
I wish Christophe had shown what I call the Pyramid house right on Bellagio west of the BelAir Country Club (where Bellagio takes a sharp turn toward Sunset). Very clean, interesting design.
It was owned by the publisher of Architectural Digest, it sold a few years ago and very unique house.
@rollinonice Not too many surgeons can afford these houses. But you could be one of the top in the world and then you can buy pretty much whatever you want!

Ravensfield is a very cool house, but it is not likely that they will let that home be video taped. We are not allowed to video inside the community in the common areas either in most of the gated areas here in LA.
