I always enjoy your tours Christophe!. Does it break your heart a little bit when a buyer tears down a 1920s era home? I know it does mine.
It is sad when it is a great home, some do need to be torn down thought.
Money open doors, drops drawers, and give you an invitation to the lush life.
Very interesting tour and I knew exactly the house you were talking about when you said it was The Beverly Hillbillies house. I wonder if it still has the "Cement Pond"? (Ha! Ha!) I agree with Kit Schroeder. It breaks my heart a little to see a 1920s era house torn down.
The cement pond was in the studio and not the real one from the house. The exterior was used for the show but the interiors were all at the studio.

THANKS I USES TO LIVED ONE BLOCK OF HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAMES, MANN THEATER ETC I PASSES THEIR ON SUNSET BLVD OR STREET, BEL AIR, UCLA, IS WAS NOT INTEREST IN THOSE PLACES EVEN NOW, HOWEVER, I NEEDS SOMEWHERE QUIET TO LIVE, I MOVED FROM LA, IN 1989 I CAME TO NEW YORK CITY, WELL YOU KNEW THE BIG CITIES VIBES. LOKKING TO IVEST IN A GATED COMMUNITY HOUSE.

And 2.the series columbo where was it filmed most? I don't mean the studios
They are very similar and right next door to each other, but Bel Air has many different areas and Holmby Hills is very small.

Most of Bel Air has faux gates with no guards controlling access. There are several gated communities in Bel Air that have gates and guards.
